In Feb 2020 before the global lockdown started we got lucky to visit
Gandikota Fort in Andhra Pradesh. We had heard a lot about this scenic place and was on my bucket list for long.
Tucked into the folds of the Erramala Hills over the Penna river, this living fort village is famously known as "Grand Canyon of India" because of its strong resemblance with Arizona's grand canyon. Although it's not that big, consider it a scale down the gorge of the grand canyon
I and my friend Vasav took a bike ride from Bangalore over the weekend. It was around 6 h 30 m drive via NH 44. One can easily plan their trip by road from Hyderabad or Chennai as well.

Give my reference, they will charge 1000 per person including camping, bone fire, dinner, and breakfast all-inclusive. Book at least a day before in peak times.
