Dear Ganesh: My ancestral home is just across the street from this temple on East raja street. The temple is now well maintained by ASI in recent years. In my school days in the 70s it was not so. We use to see only western tourists occasionally and locals will not go there. Because it was closed most of the time and poorly maintained. Nowadays poojas and utsavas are properly carried out.

Dear Ganesh Raghavaji, thanks for showing Vaikunthanatha temple of Big Kanchipuram. I am very glad to see this video of Divyadesam. As you told three Vishnu temples are there in this one temple only. But I didn't know last Nindrakolam of Vishnu is not accessible. The name of Vimana Gopurams is here knows as " Mukunda Vimana ". Description of Alwar was also correct. Thanks for telling Pallavan Dynasty story. Please show Pushakarni of this temple in detail in tomorrow's video. If possible show the staircase for visiting 2nd & 3 rd temple in upper platforms. Waiting for 2nd video of this temple at the earliest.

Kailasanathar Temple, This temple and Mahabalipuram shore temple are built by Pallava kings and hence the archtechrural resemblence. Lately ASI has been keen on restoring the glory of our great Indian history and keeps it green in the front . In my younger days in 1970s this temple will open only once a year on Vaigunda Ekhadasi. Other days people won't be able to go inside because it was mostly closed, poorly maintained and resting place for antisocial elements.
