Kayla is the daughter of a gang president. She dated a gang hitman where she was constantly abused and hospitalised 38 times in one year. She has sold large quantities of meth, been held hostage, and escaped death more than once.
She has now found peace and given her life to God, and is on her path to finding redemption, this is her story.

Your story relates to me best. But I was growing up with my stepdad who was the abuser that made us scared of the environment where we lived house/home. Making me sleep in the dog kennel with the dogs. I was a slave to the people around me. My poor mum who has brain damage and schizophrenia was used and abused daily. She had no choice but to sit there and try not to say a word out of place. She still has tremor years later. I am actually surprised both of us survived this time of our lives. If your looking at this story on here we are on the same page we are not after symptom. This is away to let it out. I could go on here for hours texting stories about my upbringing. Chick you have been though so much I can only imagine how unemotional attached you are to a lot of people and things like myself and how many relationships we have destroyed. It’s amazing how many people are/have been in the same situation. All I can say is whenever you find yourself in a bad situation or place there’s always an upwards spiral Omg where did the time go 😮 Peace out gorgeous Much love ❤️

Great to see Kayla breaking multiple-generational cycles of trauma and addiction with her courage... turning mistakes into inspiration to help others. Nothing is wasted if we learn something in the end.

Hate to steal your words Janet but great to both Kayla and you both breaking those cycles of trauma and addiction and kicking goals. Only thing more inspirational that a brother escaping a life of violence and emptiness is when a sister does and only thing better than that is when more sisters do the same and start living happy and constructive lives. My unfathomable respect to both of you amazing women, you're a beacon for so many people stuck in the darkness ♥️👌🙃
