GangStarr one of the best Hiphop shows I had the honour to have seen in the UK. I remember them doing a flawless 2 hour set nonstop hits after hits. The crowd was packed and they went hard, every track banged. After the set GURU came off the stage and hanged out with the fans. Me and my boys had the pleasure of hanging out with GURU and just thuggin and rapping. He was coolest of cats! One of the best nights of my life. Rest In Power Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal! 👑👑👑

Guru takes the listener on a lyrical journey on how fake MC’s infiltrate the pop charts with watered down, non substantive rhymes. These sucker MC’s chase dollars by misleading youth with studio gangsta stories. They go on to make large sums of money and gain instant fame, however they fall short of street credibility, lyrical versatility, walking the streets without bodyguards, underground beats, and above all respect among hip hop legends. Guru’s flow on this track is on point. Premier laced the track with his brilliant production.
