Not for nothing gotta give Leno props on this one. He didn't bring no commercial ass rappers. He brought the crème de la crème. RIP GURU
@DavidRichardson955 жыл бұрын
100% facts, he started to bring the best of the best in R&B and hip hop at that time, and I believed that's when Arsenio (at that time at his peak) and show started to dwindle in the ratings.
@brownpapi26342 жыл бұрын
FOH....he only did that because Arsenio had BEEN giving these acts a nationwide platform and had the young black audience on lock. Stop giving these white MFers credit for doing what they should've been doing

Gang Starr had a relationship with Leno through Bradford Marsalis, as he worked on Leno’s show at the time. Check out an album called Buckshot le fonque- breakfast at Denny’s, in which preem uses Leno’s vocals from that show.

I remember this watching this on TV aired in 90s'. It was clearly because of Branford Marsalis, (Buckshot LeFonque connection with Premier), being the Late Show Band leader on the show. It was single cut song from their 2nd LP, but side B prevailed (DWYCK was on the side B of the single.)
