One point of view to consider in understanding Bheeshma ! As mentioned, he was a cursed Vasu. As a Vasu he was Prabhasa. According to Brihadaranyaka Upanishad Prabhasa represents the Akash . Akash is that in which everything else exists , such as wind, fire, water, earth , sun , moon and the stars. So, as a Taatva when Akaash is disobedient to the laws of Paramatma, it pollutes everything else. In order for Dharma to be established all that have contributed to the decline of Dharma have to undergo spiritual refinement. Aakash has to purge itself from its disqualifying tendencies. This was the purpose of Bheeshma's life. The purpose of a cursed individual's life is to suffer all the consequences of all his decisions and actions, stay true to himself and spiritually evolve again to the pre-cursed stage. Hence, many contradictions may appear in his life to an observer, but, for that person , his only mission of life is to regain its original status. Bheeshma's life demonstrates this. Many contradictions but on his Banshaiya, he gives Yudhishthira the Vishnusahasra namavali and Lord Krishna Himself gives him a bow. In a very odd way Bheeshma had aided Krishna.

Shri Gangaputra Bheeshma is an unbelievable character. Ever since I read the book महाभारतावरील व्याख्याने by बाळशास्त्री हरदास , I became tremendous fan of Shri Bheeshma. Sure, he had his defects; but if Shri Krishna Himself says to Shri Yudhisthir to seek Bheeshma’s knowledge, then there is no argument at all on what may have been the stature and character of this great गंगा पुत्र 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you Shri Nilesh ji for your excellent contribution towards the true इतिहास of भारत वर्ष 👍🏻

Nileshji, I am your grear admirer and watched almost all your studies n show. Recently you have started naming Savarkar, also in this show. Savarkar wrote a letter to Britishers to release him and he will not do any antibritish activities in those days and his or rss involvement was there in Our Mahatma Ghandhiji. So please avoid such person's name in your discussion. I repeat, your work on Ramayan through constellation is absolutely commendable and truly extraordinary. You don't require any controversial characters like savarkar to reach out current indian govt to recognise you or your work. You are the gem with your research. शनैः पन्थाः शनैः कन्था शनैः पर्वतमस्तके । शनैर्विद्या शनैर्वित्तं पञ्चैतानि शनैः शनैः ॥ Thank you 🙏🇮🇳💐

Thank you. And thank you for your admiration and your Tapasya to go deep into my research works. 🙏🙏 I must clarify the following: 1. My mentioning of Swatranyaveer Savarkar is neither a recent phenomenon nor driven by any desire to reach the current Indian government. 2. I am a Swayamsevak of RSS. I started my journey with RSS when I was very young and I was Shakha-Pramukha for 2 Shakhas for 3 years when I was in high school. I was the youngest participant at RSS meet in Pune at Talajai in 1982. (some 55,000+ Swayamsevak from Maharashtra Pranta attended) 3. I studied Savarkar from childhood and my relatives have helped Savarkar family members when British or leaders of Indian Congress did not bother to do anything for the family members when Savarkar was in the prison. 4. I volunteered in my small ways during the fund collection for 'Savarkar movie' in the late 1980s. 5. Savarkar's writings are fascinating and a source of constant inspiration and pride for me and ought to be for all Indians and humanity. My British friends who are into Indian history talk of Savarkar with great respect and admiration. 6 You are correct in stating that Savarkar is controversial, as are all original thinkers. As you may be aware, that my work which you admire so much is been downplayed by many decorated and not so decorated Indic researchers. Nyayadarahana describes in detail the reasons for such behavior or character stamping. 7. I admire Swatratyaveer Savarkar as much as I admire Mahatma Gandhi. Both did original things and both had their limitations. Warm regards, Nilesh Oak

@@rohan..... To the best of my knowledge, Savarkar never 'wrote' to the British to release him from prison. Prisoners were allowed to apply for parole or release (as they have already done most of their prison time) using an 'application form' / template, which contains clauses put in by the British government itself. For your information, even Nehru made a similar application to the British for releasing him. While Savarkar was in a prison that was like hell, Nehru was held in a first class prison, which was a house with garden and a library. I'll leave it to you do further research on this and draw your own conclusions.

Even Nilesh sir, pitamaha Bhishma was a son of River Ganga, one element from 5 water. Like these elements or for that matter any natural entity has a certain way of behavior, like water evaporates or vice versa becomes ice in certain temperature, rather it's right for related environment or wrong in that situation, that acts according to it's nature or dharma. Dear Nileshji, as per our senior acharya's of Vaishna sect, Mahabharata, Bhishma cannot be told as unmarried. This is because Krishna when he is instructing the final pyre be lit he is asking to use Bhishmacharya Agnihotra fire. That means he was married and had also carried out agnihotram. he only did not participated in physical union to produce kids. in my opinion, only this generation lost the importance of giving words and follow. But I am aware many of my older generations would follow their words to the every letter. if you look at the land records for India including my village, many land records only started by last 50 years. earlier to that....when people wants to handover the land to other, they will bring the buyer to the land along with key people of the village and they will say the words of hand over on the lands they are giving up. this was considered final and done The earlier generations practised "mana, vaak, Kayam" synchronous approach. Our acharya will say if one follow unity in thoughts and actions, what ever he says would happen. some times called blessing, some times called curse both will work

Hi Nilesh ji, what are your thoughts about Out of Africa theory ( about 60,000 years ago) by NS Rajaram? How could it be possible if Lord Brahma created manu maharaj and he started race of all human beings, please tell me your thoughts about it, thanks in advance.
@NileshOak3 жыл бұрын
Namaskar 1. I am not aware of the 60K Out of Africa theory of N Rajaram Ji, although I knew and had communicated with N Rajaram Ji until his passing away. 2. When did Brahma create Manu?
@Siddharthsharmaoffi3 жыл бұрын
@@NileshOak Sorry for late reply, Nilesh ji. 1.Well yes, he published his theory of 60k out of Africa, where some toba volcano erupted and only few speaking humans survived in parts of East Africa ( Kenya or nearby areas I guess) from where our ancestors came and settled into Indian subcontinent 30k years ago.(It's not my words, although I only partially believed into the concept of his theory). 2. Well I could be wrong here , but what I've read before that the FIRST MANU, so called Swayambhu manu was the manasputra of Lord Brahma ( he created him through his mind) and thus he's the progenitor of humans since first manvantra. Now here is a one question if you can answer that... In one of your video, you're agreeing onto some point where human civilization couldn't pass off before 24,800 BCE. So if Ramayana happened in 12209 BCE, can we also agree in that point where Vaivasvata Manu and matsaya Avatar appear in that same dating around 25,000-24,000 BCE as the starting of first kritayuga of seventh manvantra? Thanks in advance again. 🙏

48 min to 49 min one more thing,, could it be possible that rishis due to their tapasya and observation they can even predict the time period of cycles of yuga and wen that could end bcoz if wat i understood which i know is just anumaan is that in context of prakriti pradatta guna if we see virtueous aspects of civilization that might hav been realized by some of our aadipurasha wen followed by many generation could hav been naturally selected and became the signature mark of maanva jaati that had been initially as much of an species like other animals. And that aquired traits led to satyuga where at the time there was minimal or no asatya in any aspect of human nature of that time and as far as my anumaan most of the gyan or shruti of that time only keeps a thread of guidance through out all yuga as the cyclical nature inherent in prakriti leads to again patan of those traits and we are getting more closer towrds those primitive instictual nature of our species that is kaliyuga and as per rishisis cycle goes on repeating itself. If this is true human might find way to shorten this period of kaliyuga and may satyuga continue for ever means at least that is what we do acknowledge every now and then ki as human we must find sat chita ananda and that must be existing in satyuga where there is no conflicts between prakriti and chetana.
