These are also police responses to firearms calls which are not real (fake) guns, or responses by firearms officers to situations where the criminal is not armed (irrespective of if they were believed to be - armed police also respond to routine calls). I tried to get some more detail on them but the only associated statistic I can find is that there are a total of 6,000 police officers which carry guns in the UK.

I still don't see how that helmet saved his life from a seven shots. That helmet isnt made of any bullet proof materials. Its polycarbonate aka plastic. The insides are made of EPS foam, essentially the same styrofoam TVs come packed in. The only way that helmet saved his life was by protecting his head when he fell off the bike and hit his head on the ground, not from any bullets.

I have heard of three different types of cases with people who are hit by bullets that hit them in the head: The first one it hits an oblique angle pierces the skin but not the bone and travels in an arc around the head coming out some other point. The Gunshot victim comes out okay. Another is where the bullet hits the skull at an oblique angle Pierce's the skull then makes an arc around the inside of the skull also coming out somewhere on the other side. This victim also recovers. Case number three is like case number to accept with the victim failing to recover. I'm thinking these may have been oblique hits on the guy's helmet that were somehow redirected.

@PanjshirGuerrilla I believe logic might dictate that a country with strict, and arguably successful, gun laws/enforcement ISN'T going to put a killing tool on the streets to flush out 'thugs'. I could conceive of undercover operations, or even *bait* tactics. But the complete fiasco the 'Fast and Furious' operation turned out to be, I think, is lesson enough (politically and productively) for even the dimmest of enforcement organizations to eschew.

A 9000S? That's perhaps the worst gun that Beretta has ever manufactured. It probably went quiet for 3 years because that's how long it took Beretta to fix it. It took them 5 years to fix mine, and my rear sight fell off like the one in the video. It's supposedly a common problem. I want to trade mine in at a licenced dealer, but none of them want to take it because of how problematic the model was. Beretta "fixed" mine and replaced the sight, but it still malfunctions more than my other pistols.

@@doodoobutter3929 thousands of defenseless victims too. there are so many recorded police phone calls of defenseless victims being murdered. your phone isnt a weapon. why do people think a police man 10+ minutes away can save them in the 10 seconds it takes for a crime to happen? the foolishness is astounding. to be fair even most Americans are naive and dont rely on themselves to defend themselves. smart people know the dangers though and they carry tools like pepper spray, a knife and a handgun so they are ready for any threat. the CDC reports that americans use firearms 2,000,000 times in defense each year. women that carry weapons dont get raped... they can bust out there pepper spray on the bad guy and run away, if the pepper spray doesnt work then she can pull out her handgun. women are the highest number of new people getting handgun permits. they are finally being educated on the concept of self defense.
