In case your interface isnt the same for finding the "App Password" option, it should be inside of the "2-Step Verification" tab. This was my situation. Otherwise, everything works perfectly! Thank you! :)

I am at the part of creating an app password however there is no option to create one under 2 step verification like you have? does anyone know what the new option to do this is now? Edit: I figured it out as of may 27/23 you need to click on 2 step verification then scroll to the bottem of the page and there you can follow the process of the app password. Hope this helps

Hi this was really helpful. Thanks! I followed your instructions and it was working well but not on all emails. I have some emails sent to my customers that didn't reach them. I have researched and found that I need to turn on DKIM & SPF to avoid it from happening. But it seems, it only applies to a paid Google Workpace Gmail. Do you have a workaround this? Or do you recommend going for the paid plan? This is just a one-person business and I don't really need other apps. I just need to send customer support emails. I hope you can help me. 😢

It is probably reaching them but might be going to their spam folder. DKIM and SPF would be for paid Google workspace. It might be time to get the paid version, which is $7.20 per month.

@@StuffedBox Thanks for the reply! I actually just found a workaround. Go to your personal info under google account then under contact info add all the alias email addresses under "alternate emails". I just tested it and the profile picture translates to all those emails!

Sometimes, Gmail marks email as spam incorrectly. Mark it as not spam, so it helps Gmail learn that it's not.
