That's why pretty much every "vampire" character in WWE doesn't stay a "vampire" for long. When Edge did the Bloodbath on (Seth) Rollins - he had to use Black color ("Brood Bath"), instead of Red, maybe because it could be felt as (too) "controversial" in today's WWE's PG-rated climate. (What's Up with That ?) Nonetheless, That was quite a Bad A$$ ("Attitude Era"-style) spot. I loved it, man - just like watching the "Monday Night Wars" all over again (WCW vs. WWE/WWF and ECW) ! I would just wait for a while, but put it on a AEW PPV, like "All Out" (at the Now Arena (Hoffman, Estates, ILLinois) on September 5, 2021; in the corner of Christian (Cage) in his contest against Kenny Omega (with "the Invisible Hand," Don Callis/the Jackyl/Cyrus the Virus).... if not, helping Matt Hardy ("Big Money Matt") and/or "Hurricane/Sugar" Shane Helms, in AEW (since the "Elite Deletion" match at the 2020 "Full Gear" PPV show), when he had a contest against Sammy Guevara. Red means Green = like Nick Gage's (Dominoe's) Pizza Cutter and his usual (GCW: Game Changer Wrestling) fluorescent light tubes, on (Chris) Jericho, in one of his "Labor" matches; it is like an ECW match, involving cheese graters (the Dudley Boys, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu). If you're not following Gangrel, you're missing out. Truly one of the underrated greats. Most people were loving the main eventer guys where i was loving the mid-card guys who were putting in more work than the main eventers. Gangrel was the leader of that movement, he wasn't that flashy, but was a very solid wrestler. still is.

So, when I was a kid I had so many "in your house" vhs tapes. Kane was always my favorite wrestler (I always gravitated towards that character with the mask and suit and his menancing demeanor) but your entrance and music was my favorite and the brood was my favorite faction

Man I saw Edges brood tease and the first thing that went through my head was “well I know Christian is with AEW but I really hope that WWE brings in Gangrel to do the Brood thing with Edge”. Then I saw Edge’s entrance and no Gangrel which bummed me out. I mean I thought it was a bad ass entrance but still missed seeing Gangrel rising up from those flames with that twisted mischievous smile on his face. It sucks that it put his AEW debut on ice, I can only hope that given a bit of time he can get his own badass brood’like entrance in AEW. Damn all the nostalgia, at the time in the WWF Gangrel was my third favorite act behind Austin and Taker (which if ya gotta be third then being third behind those two is pretty damn good standing).

Gangrel is easily the most underrated wrestler of ALL-TIME. 20 years later and this man is still iconic. The fact that The Brood wasnt even around for very long, yet are still talked about and missed says EVERYTHING.

When Edge did the mind games and the blood on Smackdown, I was sent back to 1998/1999 when the Brood/Ministry of Darkness came about and I actually marked out like a fan again when Edge did that at Summerslam!

Well if he doesn't own it he must of asked /paid GANGREL to use it for summer slam .if thats the case why didn't GANGREL just stop EDGE from using it because he had plans for it on aew?. Im sure EDGE would of changed directions not to step on GANGREL toes on a major return to Television.

All 5 members of both the original and the "new" brood are among my favourite professional wrestlers/sports entertainers. Id love to see Gangrel do something with Adam and Jeff in his Willow persona in WWE, or with Christian Cage and Matt in his Broken/Woken persona in AEW

Edge has been an inspiration to my life and I haven’t been a wrestling fan since Batista turned heal the 2nd time. That being said, when all this hit on KZbin, it made me think of Gangrel IMMEDIATELY

Unfortunately wwe found out their idea due to a mole in the company and they decided to freedload off aews idea of bringing the brood back and used the one person whose still on payroll that was part of the original brood and trademark of the company to steal the thunder. Good thing aew got Cm Punk to slap them right back
