Seems like many of us mortals are on our own form improvement journeys, but we don't hear much about how pros think about or analyze their own form outside of teaching someone else!

Glad Gannon is speaking some truth to you about smart tee shot selection. I have been trying to say this for a few videos. When I hear you say "I can birdie pretty much every hole out here" 🤦. Then you go shoot a +1, lol. Obviously the game planning needs some work. Ive seen 3 pro tour events, KT makes the bottom of the MPO field look like beginners in terms of game planning, course management, and shot selection. You got to know when par is ok.

Gannon seems like that one critical friend with not many nice things to say, but also some really good advice. A "FRENEMY ". He is a good kid but also, kind of a dick. It reminds me of my veteran buddies. I like it because it shows comfortability, honesty, and a mild rawness. A lot of people will wear masks and you don't really know who they are. Military vets usually have that stripped away and it can seem blunt at times, but what you see is what you get. I would rather have a friend who talks trash to your face and roots for you behind your back, than a friend who roots for you to your face and talks trash behind your back. All in all, its great content with this group of guys. Keep kicking butt AB 2.0. We are rooting for you.

Its a fun course to watch on coverage (when the Internet isn't completely awful), but the issue is that its clearly not enjoyable for lots of MPO players to play in. Also, probably the course that has the most variation for luck, and i typically dislike courses that are more reliant on luck. I think the fpo course, even though its mostly just a shorter version of MPO, is a better experience for the players.

Gannon is a real one. Everyone is saying he sounds like an ass hole, but I don't agree. He is one of the best players in the world right now and he knows the game. Surely he can look at a thrower and know what they are capable of. He isn't your weekend buddy hitting you with a "nice shot" on some average ass throw, dude is hitting people with hard truths. Bodanza has great distance, which I think is the reason he full sends on every long hole, but he needs to know when to lay up because like Gannon said, 1 out of 10 times isn't worth the risk and some times playing for par can easily move you up in the standings.

Gannon’s take on the course makes sense. To have an elite layout in which you need to make a safari layout that doesn’t quite make true disc golf lines vs a full time pro level layout. I personally, from coverage, think it looks just fine but I don’t play elite level tournaments nor have I ever played here so my opinion means 💩.

@bosmith69926 ай бұрын
hole 7 is unplayable and hole 15 is just terrible design, 18 is pretty bad too. That's enough to say a pro tour event course is bad, throwing over roads is not great either. Buhrs view counts just as much as anyone else, players have different preferences for courses you either personally like it or don't. The Buhr hate is so weird.
