Just wanted to let you know that this was VERY helpful and SUCH a "clean" review. No excess promotional yacking on and on about things I didn't want to hear about just right to the information on the tablet. Thank you, it's my favorite review of anything I've looked up videos on thus far. More reviewers should be like this. Normally I click around on reviews to try and find the bits I want to know about. Thank you for helping me come to a decision on this art tablet. I have NO room but my lap. I have a seperate adjustable stand so that's not an issue, and as long as the quality is good, like you say, I think it'll be well worth the purchase. My current drawing tablet isn't even the size of a sheet of paper, and that's the whole thing, so this will be a NICE upgrade for me.

A wacom small tablet was actually my very first tablet before I got the pen display ones. For me the switch made my process instantly easier and more enjoyable. It might take a little bit of time to get used to looking at the tablet whilst you're drawing and not the screen:)

They come with a screen protector already installed at the factory. Many people don't realise this and think the screen is scratched. I learned this reading the Amazon reviews.

I got this tablet too for Christmas but today I was useing it and it has a problem getting hot and all that and then while I was useing it for about 20 minutes and it was turning off and on and then the green light while that happened turn green and red over and over and then it started turning off and on but with a green screen with all theses dots it was so weird I had to unplug it and put it away,

@@ConfirmedLooneys Wow! I personally didn't have any problems with mine except for cursor offset issues but I eventually figured that out. I would contact customer service and see if they can help you or send you a new one.

I prefer the large drawing display like my 24inch xp-pen artist 24 pro.it's cool! 11.6inch is too small to draw if conside that the drawing software also need some display area.

Hey! Can I ask you something? I bought this tablet and it works, I can see on photoshop that the pen works, the only problem is that I can't see anything on the tablet. You didn't show how much delay the pen makes a manual line/scratch. The gap space between the pen and the line it makes. That is what I am concerned to make me feel like writing or sketching on paper.

I've been looking for a video on how to use this tablet and I'm not having luck. I'm very new at all this digital art stuff and there are no videos that explain step by step everything you need to know. A lot of the videos just dive right in and expect you to know this device already. Do I need to have adobe illustrator or some other adobe software downloaded first before I can use this tablet?

Just got mine ^^ its not even a month old. Its been working well but just today while drawing it turned to static and now it just shows a black screen. It still works- as the pen can register across the screen- but its completely black. Ive been searching internet for problem solving but I cant find anything. consistent fix for the pen not working is unplugging the main HDMI cable out of the side of the tablet, then replug it in - no need to default things.

Yes you need the drawing software installed on your computer. The pen display is like a second monitor so it does not come with any programs:)

I'm using Photoshop but there are other cheaper and free drawing programs as well. The tablet should work with most of them. The company may have a list of compatible programs on their website😀

The screen won't turn on. It's just black but the pen still works on the computer monitor. What can I do to fix this? Like, how can I turn on the screen?

You should be able to just press the power button on the side of the screen and it will turn on. You could double check in your PC settings that the screen settings are set to duplicate. If nothing works, then I would email customer support at Gaomon, perhaps you have a faulty screen?

Hi Dove, Here are some answers to your questions: 1.) No the tablet screen needs to be plugged into a power outlet and your PC or laptop. 2.) Yes the PC needs to be on. 3.) The tablet can be as far away as the cable stretches, so not very far. These types of tablet screen are not like an Ipad. They are basically a screen or monitor that you can draw on. They only function as a extra screen for your PC, an extra one that you can draw on. Hope this helps:)

You will need either 2 HDMI ports, one for the tablet and one for your monitor or find another way to connect the monitor to your pc (you can sometimes use the VAGA port if you have one). Hope this helps, I am no computer expert by any means.

I bought this Tablet for my daughter for Christmas and trying to get it to work now.. Think we figured it out but is it worth it as far as animating goes? She is used to her I pad, which has an animation app on it. So I was just wondering if its a step up from that for her? She's really getting into animating and I'm just trying to help her get the best out of her talent.. Worth it?

I think it would depend on what program you are using with the tablet. The tablet itself can certainly be used for animating but you need to have a program on the computer that can do animation. I have friends who use photoshop and after effects but I am sure there are lots of other ones as well. I can't be much help with advice about what to get as I don't animate myself but I do know the tablet can be used in that way:)
