Recommendations from a professional painter is use 1/4” nap roller with a White dove roller cover from Sherwin for a easy process in the future Other than that good job

How long does it take to dry before repeat another coat?

It dried pretty fast being in the sun. The paint has directions for second coat. I waited about 30mins.

If my garage door is made metal, not wood. Do I need 100 grid to sand ? How we should sand ? ( I mean we must remove old paint completely or roughen the surface for good paint adhesion ?

I would go with a good sanding and some quality primer. No need to take it to bare metal. I’d get some kind of power sander or you’ll be sanding for a while.

Put a shim of tape or plastic inside the roller ends (trimmed up before use) to keep the brush from slipping.

1. You would have to either a) buy a sprayer b) rent a sprayer c) already own a sprayer. 2. After that, you would then need to learn to spray. Paint doesn't soak into garage doors and if you don't know how to spray, it will cause thick marks where paint is too thick and has been overlapped, and this can also cause drips. All of which impact the quality of the finish. 3. You would need to purchase more paint than is necessary for the garage door. You need to be able to fill the paint line and that requires lots of paint that is needed not even to go on the garage door but just to keep the line filled. While for an experienced painter, who already has the equipment and knowledge, spraying is the way to go. But, as a person trying to touch up their house over their weekends, brush and roller all day.

Looks brand new. All the paints now you need three or four coats. Do not know what they did to them. Peace!

It looks like you painted over that large rust spot. Oops! The rust is going to come right through that paint in a hurry. You could put three coats of paint on, and the rust is still going to race right through that water-based paint. Get yourself a rattle can of Rustoleum auto primer (gray) and hit that rust spot before you put that paint on it.
