if the clear coat does not make it there are some epoxy paints, like goop coat it , that you may want to look at. another thing to consider is if you start drilling into the bench top and then get solvents on the surface you might create a path for the solvents to get under the clear coat. otherwise, looks real good, Todd.

Get some new seals for the spray gun for the clearcoat, so that when you use it next time you can change out the seals on the spindle (and a touch of non silicone grease as well, I used red rubber grease, like you use on brake cylinder seals) so that the seals are smooth running and do not cog. Tip with the clearcoat is to use the right thinners for the paint, and as you start to spray in hot times use the thinners with retardant in them, so that the paint does not cure too fast, if you use the standard fast thinners the paint literally can cure before it hits the surface, leading to a powdery paint finish.
