Those are neat, I have a few of them I have collected over the years.

most people today don't know what they are and often mistaken for a riding crop. For those of us who love history these are all great finds.

The Victory piece I think is a cigar box label. Cool bunch of stuff! The cap badges, collar badges, shoulder badges and posters are the best/coolest finds in the bunch, imho. Definitely worth doing some research on them before selling them. Those small cases are handy! Will posting a "finds" video today, also.

I am kicking myself now as he had a couple more of those cases, I should have bought them. Those most have been expensive cigars ! I am not into for a huge amount of money so I will sell off some stuff to get back even.

Nice haul! Nostalgia is my favorite drug. Through my business in junk removal I often find weird treasures of this sort. I recently pulled some old Wartime rations cards which I thought were pretty fascinating.

Yeah it is sad, people care for this stuff all their lives and the next generation throws in it in garbage.

Wow! very interesting historical finds. People still collect pins my children do. See those old taps puts me in mind of my youngest (likes tools and auto) found some old tap tools about 7 years ago and not knowing anything about them he shared pictures on line just to learn more and a plumber in New York (I believe) asked him if he would sell he uses them because some people want the old taps repaired instead replacing them. My boy who 12 said they cost him 10$ and if he would pay that plus shipping all would be good to him to know that these tools were still useful. The man sent his 250$ America and a thank you note. He has found lots of old parts and sold them then again he found some he couldn't find a buyer for. My oldest boy is more into the military and toys. and my daughter collects dolls/girl toys and old jewelry she says that costume jewelry isn't fake it is low cost but high quality craftmanship . They all love and collect music and books. Yes I am proud of them - and doing a little bragging.

Was it an actual Old Timer, or just an old knife?

Old timer with an old knife .... 😄😄

@Cruiser Mac Ha, yeah I looked it up and saw that Old Timer knives didn't start until 1958 and that knife looks a lot older than that.

Cool finds. Would you be interested in selling the French flag? That is one thing I did not acquire in my time in France. I'd like one. You still have me email? If not, Message me on Instagram.
