Garage sale advise: Try to hit up a location that has multiple sales going on. Street sale, community garage sale, church sale, etc. As you said, it's hit or miss, but if you can go to one street that has a dozen sales your odds are doing much better. Good to hear you are playing it safe and not becoming a Baby Daddy.
