I’m a professional mobile detailer based in Scotland ( Rooks car care ) I would love it if you gave me a wee follow Paul and anyone else in the comments . I would just like to say I do about 3 cars a day 6 days a week and do pretty much the same process that you do on every car , I use infinity wax products and can’t see past them and don’t really try buying any others as retail prices are risicilous these days and just wouldn’t be cost effective , great video as always Paul

I've tried the larger thicker towels, they just become heavy and I revert to a smaller thinner towel Paul. Nice video, the interior product definitely added a richness to the plastic matey.

Oh good show darling! That was brilliant, I watched every single minute of that and enjoyed it all. Particularly your comment on the MJJC lance, I'm glad someone's said it. You seem to have ALL the snow foam Lance's though, no wonder you've got different chemicals mixed up for different jobs, I think I would too!

Paul, thanks for taking the time to produce this video. I use a Work Stuff Large Orange detail brush and if I hand wash my car, I first dry with leaf blower, then I use a ceramic detailer with 16 x 16 microfiber towels to finish drying. But most of the time when I wash my car I use ONR.

Enjoyed that Paul, thanks. I use the Goldmember drying towel from The Leather Company, classed as a large towel but it's not huge and I find it easy to use and was only a tenner. Got 5l of snow foam atm so I reckon V3 will be out before I get to buy new foam. Re the door shuts, I quickly use the remainder of the shampoo and a wash mit prior to rinse down. Great vid Paul. I love GT products, consistent results is what I feel you get. Got my Rimmats but until we get lashings of rain in Yorkshire, a hosepipe ban keeps me off my driveway! Oh, another thing. When I place my phone further away from my 52yr old eyes, your "diesel" looks like a Vrs estate 😊

Great video. I have a large drying towel and I do have to admit, I have had a few panic moments when I quickly have to grab and prevent the end of the towel from touching the floor whilst drying the level areas of the car 😅 So I should invest is a smaller towel for sure. If you have any spare brushes, by all means I would be happy to accept them

I prefer a smaller towel normally but the Sams detailing large towel is quite thin so is easy to wring out but I got a large double sided Korean towel from race car box and I find it difficult to wring out once saturated. That was a good tip on using a detailing brush at the wash stage rather than prewash to be honest I had given up doing it altogether and not noticed much dirt build up. The door shut dilema is when is the best time to do it. I spent 7 hours detailing our new to us car today and because I was battling daylight I clean forgot to do it at all and only got the froot!!! and boot and quarter panels waxed before I lost. Yes I traded our 2 cars for an Electric Jag. That snowfoam was good before and looks even better but as I have 10L of Mitchell & King Snow I won't be investing anytime soon.

Hello Paul,the GT Snow foam works great,it shifts the dirt of the bodywork, i use some citrus stuff on the car and don't move it.the car looks so much better now.

Great vid paul, never used any GT products, may have to try the wheel shampoo.(have same kind of wheels as you) think problem with a LARGE drying towel is if it touches the ground doing the lower part of the car.👍😎

I’m loving the new GT V2 Cracking SF Also I’m with you being a tester reviewer I use multiple processes to test the shampoos But I love this shampoo and applying via a Lance Or emptying the rest in to the wash bucket 🪣

Hello, Re the hosepipe ban, for many years Imhave used demineralised water for the final rinse. More recently, having discovered the Spotless Water Company, (I wondered where the window cleaners got theirs and found out) . A great boon is the K4, or any jet wash which draws in water from a container. So, since the ban, I have been filling all four of my 20 litre jerries and using Spotless water from beginning to end. I was getting some funny looks from passers by. but there is no sign of ba hose going to a tap. I also have a little battery powered washer which I sometimes use for a quick maintenance rinse. Now we have had some rain, I will probably, fill one of the jerries from there tap and use the Spotless for the finale. Towel wise, I love to drag my double sided whopper over the car which, together with squeezing out the bugger, provides my weekly work out. I use smaller fluffies near the road and for the architraves which, on my car, seem to collect a lot of water. If you are a car care enthusiast, as well as the joy of preparing your baby, it pays dividends when you sell her privately.... just never use balms or creams on your leather and spray the interior (from a bottle)with Spotless water when she is standing on very hot days. Also use a windscreen shade.

snow foam looks good. v1 was great so I guess I'll have to get some of v2 as well. When it comes to the brushes, the work stuff ones have gone down hill in terms of quality. No idea what's happened to them but they have been falling apart within weeks. Detail factory for ultra soft brushes and the new garage therapy ones for anything else. Job done

I use the Rag Company Gauntlet 20x30 for the body and the wheel version to finish the wheels after using a leaf blower 😄

I've a number of drying towels and find if a cars coated the thicker pile ones dont seem to dry as well as the shorter pile ones .I have Autobrite smaller towels that can be used as drying towels to that I use for wheels or on sills n skirts only .

Hi mate appreciate the 👍🏻up Sigma is designed as an LSP last stage protection it’s application is different in that you do a panel at a time and use two MF cloths the second one dampened it this levels out the product then buff off with the other cloth it should last 9 weeks the QD lasts around 2/3 weeks and is used to clean off any marks missed and boost gloss both products can be used together Sigma is very slick and glossy

It’s still there but I feel my clearcoat needs a decon to unclog the clearcoat and bring the crazy water behaviour back 👍🏻

Iv kinda fell out with snow foams, lots of hastle and lots do, not much. I tend to just use apc in a sprayer now, depending on how dirty the car is mind x

Hi Paul, what would you recommend, Bilt Hamber touch-less snow foam or the Garage Therapy V2 snow foam? I use the normal Bilt Hamber Auto foam at the moment which is good, but I want a snow foam that helps to remove dirt, not one that looks like a Victorian Christmas scene, great video as usual. Ps i use both large and small drying towels.

I just discovered your channel Paul, and very much enjoyed your video. I am now subscribed. A question for you the expert Paul: For the first time ever, I have a car (with which I am deeply in love) that has front end (to the A pillars) PPF and Ceramic coating elsewhere, so is it safe or even recommended to use a detailer, after the dry down, on these surfaces? Just used garage therapy one car shampoo today for the first time and then wheel shampoo as well. It’s a game changer I’m well impressed I’m gonna splash out next and get there quick detailer and the sealant as well. GT Zero decon shampoo, mixed at 10.1 in a spray bottle works wonders on cleaning tyres, personally find it more cost effective than dedicated product... In the same ratio also great as bug remover, wheel cleaner and heavy duty prewash/snowfoam (have a look at Paul's other video from a few weeks ago doing just that)
