Are These Auxito LED Lights All They're Cracked Up To Be?!

Today as part of best tools good tools I review the Auxito LED H7 Bulbs, replacement for halogens.

I remember using these style LEDs on an older car years ago and came to the same conclusion, the ones I've seen people have good results with come with their own harness and a cooling fan behind the driver to keep them cool and they're a lot more expensive. I haven't tested them, if they'll even fit in these older housings I'm not sure.

Also, IMO, the halogens provide a much better color temperature for nighttime driving. The blue cast of LED lights (and sometimes a washed out white) tends to make everything They illuminate appear to be the same color. The halogens on the other hand provide warmer, softer (more diffuse), light that is more representative of how things appear in daylight. I have yet to find LED bulbs with good color temperature and built-in diffusers, but I think that’s what it would take for an LED bulb too deliver the same experience that more standard headlights and bulbs do. Bright, wide, warm and diffuse are the hallmarks of OEM lighting.

If u prefer 5000k bright white with no blue hue. If ur on a budget, look up Formula J87 - G8 led bulbs for $40 a pair. Or if u want the best of the best and if u will to spend high price for the lifetime warranty with $205 a pair. Get Morimoto - 2stroke 4.0 or Diode Dynamics - SL2 PRO.

They were definitely dimmer than the halogen bulbs, as you said yourself those housings are designed to reflect light emitted from a halogen whereas the LEd is only using a small portion of the reflectors in the housing.

Than find a different led bulbs that’s much brighter than stock.

If you are in Germany then these Leds are not road legal. Only legal options are Osram night breaker Leds.

All led are not DOT but who cares dude. We still rather upgrade with led like Auxito and not just Osram/sylvania, no matter what country are we in.

Those 1:1 size led bulbs are never really good, you need some with a seperate driver and cooling fans. I'm using Novsight N37's and they're much much brighter than my old halogens, now they have a newer model called N60 that are even more powerful

Not everyone wants bright lights. The 1:1 led bulbs is a great option for perfect fitment and perfect beam pattern. But not every led bulbs are created equal

Auxitos are ass! I i purchased some for my fog lights. I reached out to them before purchase to confirm i wouldn't get a canbus error or flickering st start up. They assured me i would have no issues. 🙄 I mean if you don't know just say you don't know. Dont lie.. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Anyway, they sent me some different ones that weren't as bright free of charge. Those didn't work either. I get the error sporadically now and flicker all the damn time. Some of you KZbinrs will promote anything just to get a check. That's how I found Auxito. Another you tuber promoting them for my exact model BMW.... His pants are probably still on fire to this day the wy he be lieing...

It only depends on ur vehicle, and depends on what type of led bulbs dude. We have no issues with Auxito. And we had nothing but great experience with them. And we truly highly recommend them. If ur vehicle is a Jeep,Dodge,Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz,BMW,Audi, ram, that has canbus problems. Try the Auxito - Y19. U might as well get the plug and play style 50W load equalizer resistors that’s tried and true. Auxito is a must have and excellent for customer service.

@toyotabrony I guess you didn't completely read what I said. If they're the people who create & sell a product. Shouldn't they know more than the promoter (you)?? I never said they were rude to me and they sent me decoders and another model fogs that didn't work. the youtube channel that I initially watched that put me on too Auxito was a KZbinr with my exact year and model vehicle... A BMW

@@toyotabrony It was more than a year ago. Off the top of my head I cld tell you the first pair where they're brightest yellow JDM style LED's. The second are still on my car currently. I should've replied when I was at home so I cld check. I will when I get home from work.
