Hey mate, just have a small question. After recording the automation live, it records it in the background and plays back as instructed...i can also see the relevant parameter moving up and down in the faded background of the automation line.But even when i choose the wanted automation parameter in the dropdown, it doesn't show the recorded automation so that i can edit it to taste with the mouse. ie record by tweaking the knob but then want to go back and edit by drawing with the mouse... is there some reason for this?

Great! Just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me; maybe another bug on Mac Ventura, with automation on, when you push the red button for recording, the line keeps moving along with the cursor but the music is simply erased. Am I doing something wrong?

I was wondering that, too. Why wouldn't the previous track contents be overwritten? I think something got lost in translation.

@@swalsh76 yes, that's what happens and really it's absurd that just because you use the knobs it won't overwrite or erase the track! I wish the other guys here could help us.
