GarageBand Tutorial for iOS: making MONO mixes

Before 1960, that was all we listened to - MONO recordings, i.e. one channel only, fed through one or two speakers. Early Beatles, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, etc.....were all in mono, or "monaural", to use the full term.
Mono also has another use besides the retro flavour: you can use it to check that your stereo mix is compatible with alarm clock radios, small bluetooth speakers, mobile phones, etc., all of which are mono playback devices. Any phasing issues with stereo files are then revealed!
