225# as a minimum here in Bixby and most the athletes are hitting 315# by their senior year. My son is hitting 165# going into 8th grade.

Don't know how you would do it but I would enjoy seeing you or him in Colorado Springs training with the US Ski Team as a collaboration. Changing direction on a ski hill at 60mph is similar to high level work like this. Enjoy your stuff either way.

This is interesting. I did workouts at home for a year and a half before hiring a trainer when I signed up at a gym. I was strong when I started working with the trainer, but still had a lot of problem areas that are now getting better. I'm not an athlete, I just want functional strength for daily activities and that's what I told them. The main focus is health.

Interesting - mobility issues due to tight lats and bad elbows. Can’t image it getting any better without some hard work. Super video GS, keep it up. I bought 4 programs last year and improved after everyone. You guys should have an app.

Stretch the abdomen before front squats. This gives me better arching which makes it easier to keep elbows up.

Can’t really think of much that’s going to emulate that. Due to it requiring you to a plied out the hole I could maybe only think of a banded box squat. Or a belt squat would be pretty good as well.

We have a Kbox ( ecc. Flywheel) at gym I coach at too! But we actually have a harness attachment instead of a belt or we use the bar and do it zercher style lol
