As a wrestler how can I keep my joints (knee, ankle, elbow and shoulder joints) injury free ? In last 5 years 80% of my injuries were related to these joints and I know I'm not alone lots of wrestlers have same issue.

Hello i have a senior hs wrestler. Do wrestlers have to stop lifting heavy in preseason wrestling and change their lifting workouts to more speed, and power development (plyometeics). And how many times a week besides their wrestling practices?

My son is doing wrestling practice 4-5 times a week. He is a senior 160lbs in Clovis ca. He gets up at 5 am to workout 3x a week with an olympyc lifting coach., m, w and f. However the same days M,W and F he lifts with his HS team in the afternoon after wrestling practice. So be is doubling up on Liftimg. Today he started his wrestling season. They had a tournament but he got tired and was growing up:(. So he needs to work on his conditioning or maybe I should just let him workout with his HS team ond don't workout in the morning anymore?? Fresno state wrestlers were telling my son that he needs to do extra stuff likt to run everyday or something in the morning or after practice in the afternoon??

How much creatine should i take and which brand is safe for high school? Thanks!
@GarageStrength4 жыл бұрын
Take .1 gram of creatine per kg of bodyweight. We recommend using Earth Fed Muscle. They are USADA legal with athletes that take it, tested constantly. You can check it out here 👉 www.earthfedmuscle.com/products/transcend-creatine | Hope this helps 👍

@@GarageStrength One last question and it was very helpful, how often should I take creatine and what vitamins do you prefer that are USADA and NFHS approved? (I feel lethargic often and I believe vitamins and creatine will help and I do get good sleep I think i’m just lacking the nutrients)
@GarageStrength4 жыл бұрын
@@jt519 We recommend EFM's Essential Multivitamin which is USADA approved and you can take both supplements daily without need for cycling off.
