Hey Joe, thanks for the advice. I was able to fix our garbage disposal following your instructions. The only thing I need to note is that our garbage disposal had a slot instead of an allen wrench hole. I used a flat head screw driver working the blades back and forth and I fixed it in under a minute. Thanks a bunch!!!

Wow, your garbage disposal must be an older model as most disposals have an allen wrench hole & not a slot end. The reason for this is it's easier to dislodge a stuck item by turning an allen wrench around rather than a screw driver. Glad to hear you were able to unclog your disposal. The Garbage disposal stopped working since the last month and i was too lazy to do something so i left the dishes and i bought new ones.. before watching this video i felt guilty about being lazy and then after i watched it went to the kitchen i couldn't unplug the garbage disposal so i just pressed the red button and it worked !! FYI...if you ever purchase a mushroom garden and it doesn't work out--say, for example, it just keeps growing blue-green mold, then DON'T put it down the garbage disposal. It may look like tiny particles, but it is actually comprised of small wood chips. I learned two lessons today---how to break my garbage disposal and how to fix it. Learn from my mistake.
