Every company is different, my job at this company was pretty active so if you have physical limitations I definitely would find a less physical garbage man job. If you have your cdl there probably are positions where you don't have to do anything acept drive because you have a lumber with you.. Have you looked into driving for an asphalt company? That's probably your best bet!!

@@marcalexander6450 paving is where it's at. Most paving companies just have there drivers strictly drive!! And the pay is good 250$ plus per day average

Yeah asphalt hauling is the way to go, it's fun you'll meet some great people.being a garbageman SUCKKKSSSSSS get that thought out of your head. I thought it'd be good too but trust me bro.... it's not good at all. Garbage men honestly deserve 500$ a day for all the bullshit they go through

Call around everywhere once you have your permit and say hey I have my permit and would like to get my experience with you guys and get my cdl through you. Somebody will take you on bro I promise. I brought home $1200 in one week I pay nothing for medical insurance insurance coverage is awesome. Cost of living is $800 for 2br apartment

@@TheKenLucas south GEORGIA. Yes that $1200 does include regular required overtime. That's the only thing about where I work is alot of overtime. But we also get alot of paid vacation and infinite sick leave etc

Exactly im currently a warehouse worker but I just drive all different type of lifts. Definitely don't pay what we deserve and under appreciated. I have my cdl class b but upgrading to class A. I start school next month and can't wait to make money sitting down like you said lol. ✊🏿

There's some decent money in garbage man and it's not as difficult because there's no big trailer. If you can put up with the smell it's good stuff. I can hook u up with a job if you wanna relocate for the spring/summer/fall

I’m about to make 96 this year second year in started as a labor to a rear load driver to automated in 1 year then the next front load and I’m definitely happy and. Planning on buying a house next year and investing in rental properties so eventually I won’t have to work definitely love this job too easy
