This is one of those songs that you only neeed to hear once for it to lodge its self deep into your brain for the rest of your life. So haunting, so captivating, so melancholically beautiful. As an adult now, I also appreciate the lyrical content too. "I am lost, so I am cruel, but I'd be love and sweetness, if I had you".... I GET that now! I really get it!

There's dreck because it's a commercial industry. The key is supporting acts you like through their personal pages, websites, etc, rather than propping up the profit driven industry. Tons of great artists are taking their music directly to us, or through independent labels that give them more creative control and better payouts than the major labels that are there to prop up aging Disney radio stars.

Her beauty, while undeniable, is the least of her! Shirley has been a steadfast champion for the rights of the downtrodden since the early 90's. She's a fucking marvel of a human being. I adore her, as should we all. Beauty is fading, marvelous is forever.

Thank you Shirley. You and I had a brief moment in 1999. Last Vegas. House of Blues. I was up on the front rail. During the show a mosh pit broke out. I helped a girl from being pummeled and you pointed at me. I pointed back. That one second and a half has never left me. 20 years later and I recall it vividly. Thank you. My man cave has posters of you as a tribute. It was a great show, and I saw you many times after that. Pure respect. No objectification. You and the band- Keep f**kin rockin!!

An amazing band with Shirley's iconic voice on top. Every time I get a new Garbage album, there's a part of me that worries this will be the one where I think they've jumped the shark. I hit 'play', the first song begins, and I always feel like a fool for questioning. They just get better and better. Thank you, Garbage, for showing us all how it's done... :)
