There's dreck because it's a commercial industry. The key is supporting acts you like through their personal pages, websites, etc, rather than propping up the profit driven industry. Tons of great artists are taking their music directly to us, or through independent labels that give them more creative control and better payouts than the major labels that are there to prop up aging Disney radio stars.

All of their tracks are works of genius But this is still the standout, the one I always come back to The pinnacle of their achievements, auditory and poetic perfection Most haunting and hypnotic song ever put to vinyl... or tape... or digits.

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" (I read that in a Book once) I assume u already know abt "No Gods, No Masters," released last yr -- right back to their brilliance of the '90s & '00s.

I loved this song the minute I heard it and STUPID GIRL. I am a woman in my 70's. Stupid Girl is my anthem.

I remember that back then walmart had a very lenient return program. I purchased this cassette, listened to it and didn't like it. Went back to store and they didn't approve the return. I was really angry but kept on listening cause, you know, money was tight. This return denial led to this becoming one of my most favorite albums of all time. This is 90s manifested. Long live Garbage. God bless Shirley Manson.

First heard this song in the late 90s, sitting at a Taco Bell at 10pm eating a late dinner consisting of a Taco Supreme and Burrito Supreme. I was a full time student studying electrical engineering and a part time DJ at the university across the street. I was the first person to play VOW in the Central Valley of CA. I recall tearing open the wrapper of the promotional packaging. The CD was in a olive green metal capsule. Garbage had that different sound.
