I personally feel this is Kylie's best song. And the Kylie character at the bottom center with the big smile and side ponytails was clearly the inspiration for Margot Robbie's later Suicide Squad character.
@HanahLooАй бұрын
Actually the character in the Batman comics and cartoons named Harley Quinn was the inspiration for Margot’s role in that movie. She was created in 92 in the comics and appeared in the cartoon in the same year, then the comic in 93. This song was released in 1994.

+Mark Griffiths Agreed, easily her best track. The best career move Kylie made was to go out with the late Michael Hutchence from INXS. RIP. He advised her to radically change her image and grow a pair. He saw her true potential. This is how she went from, I Should Be So Frikkin Lucky to Confide In Me. Not listened to this track for a while, until today. Never noticed before how much this sounds like a track Madonna would have done back in the day. Rain and Frozen come to mind.

Dice che uscire con il leader degli INXS é stata una fortuna per Kylie perché lui si é accorto del suo potenziale e l'ha aiutata a cambiare immagine e musica passando dalla semplicitá di I should be so lucky a brani come questo. Yes, it's a masterpiece. Every movement or expression of Kylie is art. The song, the mood of the music and the video itself, with all the colors and the graphics, are also on point. Am I mistaken, or were the women of the nineties (female artists) more enigmatic and beautiful than today's replaceable/interchangeable random "stars"? 😊

There’s something so utterly dark and creepy underneath this song and the video’s colorful ‘cheerful’ façade; almost like a siren luring you to your doom with her singing. I wouldn’t confide this Kylie anything!
@Dermacrosis5 жыл бұрын
