Straight up I don't agree with verbal bs but my mrs got stopped for "Failure to display" a tax disk while the car was taxed and the disk on my parents hall table, I was sitting in the back seat and tried to explain and the Garda told me to shut me mouth and gave us a 90 euro fine even though the car was taxed and I asked that they checked their so called system, they're on a mission with their badges out to show they're human beings at the moment but ruthless machines face to face and thats a fact, I've always given them the benefit of the doubt but by the way we've been treated on more than one occasion I can not honestly speak up for them any more.
