У нас с вами почти всё растения совпадают, хотя климат отличается. Зима у нас без снежная,но с морозами, а лето экстремально жаркое. Весны, обычно, не бывает, из зимы сразу в лето. Севастополь, Крым, Россия.

Thanks. I compost all my garden prunings. I do have an electric shredder to crush and chop up thick stems, but smaller pieces can just be chopped up with secateurs. You can find a video on my channel covering 4 ways to make compost. Do check it out.

That useful evergreen shrub is Danae racemosa, commonly called the Alexandrian Laurel. It does produce berries although I wouldn’t say their display is that impressive, so just grow it for its evergreen appeal.
