❤ This is my Aunt and Uncles nursery in Napa. Sadly we lost uncle Pete yesterday.I had told my Aunt that I watched this KZbin one morning a couple months ago and she got excited! Her girls taped it for her, this made her happy. Thank You!

Janey, thank you for filming this! My sister and I had a girls trip to Napa and because you showcased Van Winden's it was on our "to go" to list! We also can talk about plants All. Day. Long! The staff there were so sweet. Hulio was there, but we didnt want to bother him! One of the ladies even took our picture under the sign!❤🌿🤓

Great tour. I have been there, but not since before the pandemic. I need to go back. Next time you are in the East Bay Area, save some time to visit Orchard Nursery in Lafayette, you will enjoy it.

Eek! A mock orange right out of the gate, I just put this plant on my wishlist yesterday! Oh my, I can see me making a trip over very soon. I love visiting nurseries too. Wherever we travel I try to look up what nurseries are around. The best are the family-owned as they typically really know their plants. Nice selection of Wave Petunias, I prefer them as they do better for me. Oh my, I need some tree roses for my new Rose Alley! I have Kiss Me Kate and it is a stellar performer. Rozanne Hardy geranium is an all star in my garden and I have been able to divide it to put in other spots, it is truly a summer highlight.

Ohhh my goodness!! Julio or Hulio has a fabulous cottage garden! I loved all of the layering. He’s fabulous and should definitely start a channel!! I cannot wait until you do his backyard tour. That garden center is fabulous…L❤VE…sadly I’m in Texas, but definitely taking note to some of those perennials and flower varieties that I’d love to try!! Janey, you forgot the geranium rozann! I loved that…it would tuck in beautifully somewhere.

The best thing about Hulio's job, he's already there when things go on sale, that's what I loved about my garden center job. I don't know how far I'd have to travel to find such a fabulous place. Just a heads up about mimosa trees, I had to take down a gorgeous one, squirrels were using it to get on the roof, and into the attic. It's been 4 yrs, I'm still pulling volunteers from the garden.

I have 2 and yes they spread themselves around, but love love love the filtered light for our west facing yard. Keep your mulching game on point and it all works out.

Love love Eden rose. My favorite of all time. Mine probably gets about 3 hours of sun and still blooms for me maybe not as floriferous as in full sun but still puts on a great show. 👍💚🇨🇦 Love you both, loved this tour. Thank you.

Oh I’m so glad to read this. I have a “special spot” that I keep envisioning an Eden rose arch but I wrestle with the notion… not sure if they will get the full 6+ hours of full sun… now I feel empowered to at least give it a go and see what happens! 😊

Hi Janey! Love love love your gardening videos. I was kinda blah about gardening this year but watching your videos has inspired me!! Now if I can just keep the deer away from what I plant. 😠. I ❤ Mock Orange! What I don't love that 2 different plants(?) carry that Nickname! Which one is your Native? I do have both😊. And they are soooo fragrant! I'm in Zone 6, France. 1) Choisya Ternata, which blooms April/May then if you shear some, again in Fall. 2) Philadelphus Coronarius, comes in large tree-shrub and smaller shrub. Blooming now, June. I cut some long stems for a bouquet about 5 days ago and they're still embalming the living room!
