Hi Boomers and all my incredible interested friends. Thank you for joining me as I take a “garden hack” that you mix from your home pantry. Vinegar, salt and Dawn dishwashing liquid! You get to see me demonstrate this garden hack which can be safely used without hazardous and expensive weed killers……Toxic to you and the environment! Will this go up under the walkway and kill flowers planted beside the walkway? I know that it should be put directly on the weeds, but I'm concerned about it hurting my flowers 💐.

I would say try to keep the spray away from the flowers however, I think that the best way to do it is to put the mixture as close to the weeds as possible even if you don’t get to spray it all pour it on and so far so good for my plants I don’t actually go into the garden and spray but I spray all the weeds near my potted plants and especially around the front area of my home where I have a rock border around my blueberries and tomato plants. Is this method harmful to the other garden plants and vegetables, or only the weeds?

Only the weeds should get sprayed. Try to aim carefully! 😅 I think there is less aerial toxicity for certain but if you accidently spray the plant, you will harm it. GREAT questions!

I have seen a weed device advertised which pulls the weeds completely up. However, I am certain that many weeds are airborne and the struggle to keep them under control is to pull and use the least toxic methods available.
