Nice electric set up!👍. Just ordered the KM 130R and the HSA 94T, plus just got the HSA 56…slowly switching over!😊. Might have to go for the BGA 57 after your review…cheers!

Been pondering racking for a while, but my Nissan NV200 has 2 side doors and I love the access element of it as parking can be an issue! That said, your van is a lot tydier than mine, as all my tools are on the floor and I always take more than I need. Just in case!!

I used the same EGO mower as you have, I also purchased the roller accessory, the cut was excellent but the roller being fixed to the rear was a real pain when turning so much so I removed it. I traded it in for a Hayter 48 Harrier battery mower which was much more usable, my lawns are not large so there are many turns to be made. I am fully into the benefits of battery powered tools, my main tool in other usage being a Stihl long reach hedge trimmer, I just wish Stihl would standardize on one battery type, I nearly purchased a battery powered scarifier but realising it used a different battery with the requirement for yet another different charger to clutter up the workbench i reverted to an antique Alko scarifier which works ok but must be the worst balanced machine i have used, with the collecting bag fitted the machine falls backward if i stop.

Ive been self employed gardener for 31 years now,i would quit gardening rather than use battery tools,engines are the only way to work ,always have and always will.

Thankfully not everyone thinks like you. Thing are changing for the better and we can finally dispenses with horrible loud smoky and polluting petrol tools.

That's one of the most ridiculous things I have read in a while, especially gardeners are able to go for battery tools. I worked at a landscaping company that mowed highways and other huge project for the government. They needed battery tools, trucks and vans otherwise they wouldn't get the project. But I am happy that the next generation sees that battery powered tools are the way to go.

Watched a few of these van set ups and no one seems to talk about how they deal with grass clippings?

@@rodpatterson3751 greygardener does, he has his car setup in such a way he can get smallbags in for his waste. In the Netherlands everyone drives around with a trailer and dispose their green waste at a recycler.

That false floor may need an upgrade the fact it drops at the side isn’t good. Also could you not just lift the mower in and out?
@MrGardener182 жыл бұрын
It dose the job saves a lot of effort. I can't speak for you but picking up a 30kg mower 10 times a day doesn't seen the best idea.

How many batteries do you use for the mower on a normal day?
@MrGardener182 жыл бұрын
I have three battery for the mower 7.5 ,5 and 2.5. usually on a busy mowing day I will uses all of them if I haven't been able to recharge one. I will have to get another if add anymore mowing job to be on the safe side.

@@MrGardener18 nice! I’ve still not made my mind up on if I want to go battery for a mower in the future or not 🤷🏻♂️
@MrGardener182 жыл бұрын
@@karlitobergkamp8082 I'd don't regret switching but mowing is only a reality small part of my business.
