You’ve been inspiration for my van build. Lol, these guys in the US, just can’t grasp the whole Van idea. They like them big showy fancy trucks and trailers.

I’ve just returned my ego. Literally nothing but hassle with the rapid charger or 5.0 ah batteries not charging or running out after two passes on a tiny lawn. I was really excited to get the ego but after the issues straight out the box I’ll be waiting a bit longer for a stihl battery mower that’s affordable.
@TheLawnGuy Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching From what I hear, ego is pretty good with returns. They just replace stuff with new, I don't really use the mower a great deal, so I have no problems yet.

Thanks Joe My 1st time master was 2nd hand, and I've had it for about 6 years now, Nothing too major to worry about obviously belts and cables need replacing But all quite simple and easy to find on eBay.

Another good video Dave. When you make up your iron how long do you have until you would no longer use? I like your video which you made up iron and transferred into the 20litre tubs with your stocking tip. I was just thinking if I made some up in the weekend it could save time during the week or does the iron deplete/ become less effective? Have a good easter weekend, Cheers 👍.

Enjoyed the video it as inspired me to sort out my van lol ,also I've bin considering a Toro time master how have you found them are they any good in wet habe you had any experience multching with them ?
@TheLawnGuy Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Vincent, I usually mulch when use the timemaster I've never been a fan of its bagging in the wet, but toro have now changed the blades to make them a little more high lift yet to fine out if its any better.
@vincentsgardens870 Жыл бұрын
@@TheLawnGuy brilliant that's what I've bin considering one for multching purposes hey Wen you get chance could you do a video of it multching ,so in your opinion it can handle wet grass when multching must be a breeze in the dry
@vincentsgardens870 Жыл бұрын
@@TheLawnGuy thanks very much so effective machine multching both dry and damp conditions but not really there with the bagging also I'm am going to do some shelf's /racking in me van like you thanks for the inspiration have a good day

Hi Dave how long do you get out of 1 battery in strimmer in total?
@TheLawnGuy Жыл бұрын
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I borrowed the Strimmer & blower from a friend and it came with 2X ap200 & 2X ap300 and I soon realised I was one extra battery or one extra charge on a battery away from getting through the day. But that would only be basic edging and blowing clippings, etc, off patio / paths. It must have impressed me because because I went out and bought the equipment. Only down side is that the batterys won't charge if it's about 5゚or lower. I noticed the ego batteries are about 1.5゚.
@DJC9959 ай бұрын
If it helps I have the same combi motor last year was using for all the strimming work about 30 to 45 mins run time flat out

Hello mate how well does the time master work in the wet?
@TheLawnGuy Жыл бұрын
Hey Richard I've never been a fan of its bagging ability in the wet. But Toro have recently changed the blades on them to make more high lift, I'm yet to really test it out.
@RichardBaillie-fo9jn Жыл бұрын
@@TheLawnGuy thanks for getting back to me would be great if you could let me know how it is in the wet. The weibangs I use have high lift blades and it makes a massive difference to collecting wet grass

What do you do with the lawn clippings?
@TheLawnGuy10 ай бұрын
Hi Rod, This only applies to regular mowing. If a new client doesn't have a compost area, then i either quote them to build one or suggest a garden waste wheelie bin. In 10 years, I've only ever had one person pass on my service due to not removing waste,
@rodpatterson375110 ай бұрын
@TheLawnGuy thanks for the reply, might be a little different here but we take the majority of grass clippings away and dump at a green waste recycling centre.

@rodpatterson3751 Oh ok, yeah it's different here, it's very expensive to legally dump waste and not many places either, the knock effect has ment that illegal fly tipping has become a big problem with quiet country road being blocked due to Rogue traders going out late at night and tipping the van bed up while driving down quite roads.
