Looking very good, you should be very pleased. I have a00 gauge outdoor layout at about 3ft from the floor. Its great when the weathers good to get running in. Keep up the good work, looking forward to see progress.

I use 2" galvanised pipe hammered in 600mm, hasn't moved in 5 years I like your attempt, and using roofing felt.

Hey, love the idea of the plastic pipe with the half round post inside! I might use this myself if thats ok mate …😂🇦🇺. Was going to use builders blocks but your idea will save me a bucket load of money 👍🏻

Go for it! It's a good way of making a track bed. I've used it before many years ago. Can be very cheap if you get the materials second hand. I got this pipe free and the decking for £30 for the lot
