About:
Landis Legacy Farm LLC is a pasture raised meats and eggs operation, located on a 200 acre farm, 10 minutes from Blacksburg, VA. In addition to that, there's a pre-Civil War log house that's being remodeled on farm, a century-old covered bridge, as well as many structures to be built with lumber from our on farm sawmill.

That's a-lot of work. Are raised beds a no-no in a high tunnel? Looks like Mrs B is still keeping an eye on you 🤣

The grant specifies that crops must be grown in the “natural soil profile”. Raised beds are allowed up to 12”. No plans to do that at the moment though.

It’s still in the plan to rebuild, just back burnered for now.

Lookin good. You may have mentioned, but how much higher on average is the temperature inside the high tunnel vs outside? Thanks

Haven’t had a thermometer out there so I don’t know for mine, but I’ve heard around 8F higher. Which extends your frost free season about a month in each direction.
