Hi Dee! Thanks for giving a tour of your garden. I have started a small garden in my yard using straw bales and pots. It's my first year gardening, my Dad passed in November and he loved gardening so I want to garden in memory of him. It makes me feel close to him even though he's gone. I'm sorry about the passing of Queen G, loosing a parent is the absolute worst❤

The strawberries look so yummy and the baby green bell pepper and cucumber are so cute. I think it might just be grass growing in with your cucumbers. It's nice you have a little reminder of your mom in the flower pot.

Yes, I love her little frog decoration hanging around in my garden. She absolutely enjoyed being in the backyard. Her favorite spot.

Hello Dee, I have nothing but great admiration for your garden - fresh produce and flowers. The weather is starting to get warmer, please remember to wear sunscreen, wide brim hat, sunglasses and cover your skin, the ultra sun rays can wreck havoc on the skin. I try to stay indoors due to the sun. The lemons and grapefruit looked amazing 👏, take care 😂

What a beautiful garden, I tried for many years to have an abundance in my garden, evidently I don't have a green thumb, although I have been able to grow strawberries and according to my grandchildren I have the best garden 😁 You are an inspiration, thank you

Loved seeing your garden! I want to try strawberries next year in one of those tiered containers I think k you can get them from dollar, they stack or something. Here is Florida strawberries need to be started January and peek in February or March I think?

Actually just looked it up and it said: Strawberries in Florida are planted in September to early November, and flowering and fruit continue through April or May

Yes, those trees are "dwarf" trees lol. But, they grew bigger!! You should definitely try to plant in containers! Awesome!

I was going to give you more native watermelon seeds from last year’s crop. I think my kids threw it out, I couldn’t find it! 🤨

My zone used to be 9b and is now 10a I believe. If you are near Ca 93436 can you tell me how far into the summer your pansies and primroses will survive. I planted them for the first time this year and they seem to be doing ok still. I keep moving them further out of the sun as the days heat up. Would love your opinion. Thank you.

They actually last until mid summer! I move them into pots under a shaded tree. They look bad by September, but don’t worry they tend to perk up again in late October! Both with the pansies & primrose. My flowers are going on their 3rd year.

@@DeeLovelyLife thank you so much. Great info. Once they “go over” around Sept time do you continue to water them through winter? Conditions here are so different to the UK so this is the first time in 30 years I’ve tried them.
