Your Mum (Queen G ) was an amazing lady but I'm sure you know that already. I was lucky really as my sister took over the taking care of my Mums funeral etc. I was not in a good state, it hit me hard. My sister and her husband plus one of my sons even sorted Mums house out. I was truly grateful to them. Dee and Jay I'm sending you virtual hugs. ❤❤ xx

Dee you were blessed with a wonderful mother. It must make your heart swell with pride at the amount of people who loved Queen G. I sobbed right along with you. It was heartbreaking to watch. You were such an amazing caregiver & daughter. Queen G was very blessed. My mom died on July 14th 1987. I was only 35 when I lost her. She fought hard having breast cancer. She also had a heart attack and stroke before the breast cancer. She lasted for 5 years. The doctor told me she wouldn’t have lasted that long. It was my care that kept her going. You did the same for Queen G. I still miss my mother so much. We were very close like you were with Queen G. I hope doing these videos gave you some comfort. I appreciate what you did with the videos. Much love to you & Jay. God bless you both, Lucy

My zone used to be 9b and is now 10a I believe. If you are near Ca 93436 can you tell me how far into the summer your pansies and primroses will survive. I planted them for the first time this year and they seem to be doing ok still. I keep moving them further out of the sun as the days heat up. Would love your opinion. Thank you.
@DeeLovelyLife

They actually last until mid summer! I move them into pots under a shaded tree. They look bad by September, but don’t worry they tend to perk up again in late October! Both with the pansies & primrose. My flowers are going on their 3rd year.

Hugs to you & Jay!! I’m tearing up here remembering when my mom passed in 2020. 3 days before she passed nursing home called and said to come because it seems like the end. I whispered in her ear “Mom it’s ok my you go be with Kim (my sister) you can let go now. Not an easy thing to do. We did the same for my dad when he passed in February of this year. Sister told him it’s ok to go Mom is saving a seat for you. 😘💜🙏😘💜🙏😘💜🙏🥴💜🙏😘

Oh man, hugs to you Michelle! I told my mom several days before she passed, when she was apparently too weak to speak at times. I told her, "It's ok Mom, I know what you're saying to me. I love you too, and you're welcome." Not much that wasn't shared between her and I.

You are amazing, Dee! Being a full-time caregiver for a parent is quite the journey of love. I felt all that you experienced (as I went through it a year and a half ago with my dad and am going through now with my mom). Embrace the gift of no regrets. You provided the best care possible for your beautiful momma at home, that's so important for our precious loved ones. Having your beautiful mom for years beyond what was expected is a testament to your caregiving abilities, patience, advocacy, and love. I am in awe at how you made the time to stop and vlog in order to help others. Thank you for sharing something so personal. Many caregivers will benefit from this vlog. So happy you are blessed with a great man, Jay, who has been by your side and who loved your beautiful momma, too! My heartfelt condolences to you and your loved ones.❤️

Absolutely NO regrets! Only an honor, and unconditional love. Thank you for all your kind and much appreciated comments. I remembered grabbing my camera that early morning. I knew there was an important purpose to share. Even if it was in my most vulnerable and scariest days. I'm very lucky to have Jay who helped me with no hesitation. He was the Queen "G" whisper at her most difficult days. He and her had such a cute little bond, and morning routine that was just between them. I only heard the laughter on the speaker. We are surrounded by my sister, her family, my Dad, and all of my mom's family during this time. I'm truly blessed to had experience such a love her and I shared.

The doctors and nurses gave me much praise in the great care I gave her. The respect I was given was clear. Queen "G" is very proud of me, as she had always told me. I know this video was done just as she would hope for. And especially, if it can help at least one or two more people who is, or will be experiencing this. Hugs to you!
