I can't agree more about the garden is so amazing I love all the plants. I love the vibrant colors from all the spring colors. I can't say what my favorite flower is in the garden because it all looks spectacular. Every year it will look more amazing because no one plant is stunning. That is why I love watching gardening KZbin videos and going to gardens is because no one garden is the same.

Hey it would do even better with a little mulch,it helps keep the roots moist and cuts down on weeds! It is very pretty and the beautiful colors are amazing, I can tell that you have put a lot of love into your flowers! One thing about flowers they never complain and always thankful for all of the work! I thank it’s Gods way of smiling back at us!!!

Funny. Our garden's have personalities. We can name every friend. I too visit several times a day watching them develop. I got so excited yesterday I had a Zebra Swallowtail butterfly visit. I've never seen one before. It was visiting my blue lobelia. My Rue and a Meadowsweet are my new favorites. They came from an end of season markdown 50 cents for 2" containers. So it's been a long year wait to see them bloom. I share your ideas of the mix. I like a happy carefree look for a garden.

Hi Laura, Greetings from dublin Rep of Ireland.I like the your garden you spend a lot time in it should open to the public and sell some plants.I have idea where the fire place is in your garden with two tall trees you should plant up a woodland bed effect with ferns and suitable dry shaded plants that you have growing in USA.

Even just a single lone plant was enough to create a wow moment. She’s peaking up behind a row of crystal blue salvia, lady’s mantle and blue calamintha, alongside a pink Morden Centennial Rose. You're garden is so beautiful! I love Spring time as well. BTW, I have some of that pink tall flower - it's actually dames rocket and it comes in white as well. Wow beautiful I am in awe! I just started my little perineal garden chosen pink and purple hues was sunny in the UK but we are due a storm so hope my new plants will survive. The meadow seeds I sowed are germinating and not everything has bloomed yet my digitalis is in full bloom but there are some new heads coming so hope for continual flowers in the next few weeks despite the bad weather now. Beautiful front garden! Love the blend of blues, pinks, whites, and purples. I spent a lot of time last July planting Walker's Low (4), Yellow Knockout Roses (3), Echinacea (2, one spread, seeded, and sprouted immediately on own, so ended up with 3), and Sedum Autumn Joy (5). Also planted 50 tulip bulbs in the fall. Fast forward to this spring and only 20 of 50 tulips sprouted, the Walker's Low came back in full, but unfortunately my transplanted Sedum (wouldn't flower due to minimal sunlight), along with the rose bushes and purple coneflowers have been eaten to the ground from the deer. I used concentrated Irish Spring soap on the tulips and the deer didn't eat them, but didn't keep up on all the others as they were coming up, so now have nothing. Debating whether to buy new whole flowers this summer or let what I have hopefully take/grow for another season. Perhaps some like myself can't grow nice gardens because of the animals. Appreciate any recommendations. Cheers,

Stunning! Now I'm going to mix some roses with peonies, lupines and pestemon along my new walkway going up to the third level. It should be an attractive climb. I think your way of combining blooms makes a lot of sense for Spring. Wish I could ask, do you do succession planting and if so, what is next to bloom? I find it hard to take when there aren't any blooming before the daylillies. What do you suggest to plant in the meantime? But I will surely do what you have done because I am familiar with those plants. Thank you

Thank you for a lovely message Charlene! I aim to have a succession of flowers from the first crocus to the last mum. In this garden, after this peak blossom, I have delphinum, lilies, phlox and annuals, and the roses rebloom. Admittedly there are periods with less flowers and I always aim to fill the gap, this year I am adding coneflowers and dahlias to help with the summer blossom. Hope this helped!
