Hiii my friends. Lots to show you this Autumn. It's been an extra cool Autumn but still lots of fruit coming off the trees. I'm still picking quite a few papayas, also picking some very delicious custard apples or sugar apples (Atis). A few, but sadly not enough dragon fruit, a nice big haul of Brazilian Cherries and plenty of vegetables. A few problems after the massive record rains and floods we've had but slowly getting on top of that. Also I'm finally opening up a new area with some new fruit trees, more room for my potted fruit tree collection and a nice new vegetable garden.
Ok now I've nearly caught up with the garden updates, after the computer breakdown. This is a little late I guess, but I feel not too bad. It was an interesting Autumn. But extra cool and still too wet as well. Wettest Spring, Summer and Autumn I ever remember in this area. I think the good rain did help to give a nice big papaya harvest this season, I hardly ever had to use the hose. But it really was way too much rain, the papayas especially were too wet, too often, and especially now it's getting colder the plants are beginning to suffer. A lot of preparation work needs to be done now, mostly for the roots, to keep the papayas as healthy as possible so they can get though a cold winter and ready to fruit again in Spring.
The main ingredient I intend to use to make my papaya roots and the entire plants healthy again is Cannazm. It's the best product I've ever come across for building superior plant health. I make no money telling you this. Here's some info:
CANNAZYM is a high-quality enzyme product. It consists of more than 12 different kinds of enzymes to which vitamins and extracts of desert plants are added. CANNAZYM speeds up the process of breaking down dead root material and activates the micro-organisms. In addition to this, CANNAZYM facilitates the improved absorption of nutrients and increases the resistance against pathogenic organisms.
The Threat to the Root Zone
In a root system that functions well, roots die and new roots are formed. The remains of roots that died form an ideal growing substrate for pathogenic organisms. After the pathogenic moulds have multiplied in the dead root material, they are a threat to the healthy roots. These are easily affected and will lose an important part of their function. This causes stress to the entire plant and stunts any new growth.
How Does CANNAZYM Work?
Enzymes are substances that speed up the reactions in living organisms. (Example: enzymes play a vital role in our digestion). The enzymes in CANNAZYM facilitate the fast conversion of dead roots into minerals and sugars. This is important, as they make up a valuable source of nutrients for the plant as well as for the soil environment. A fast breakdown of root remains creates a balanced air and soil hydrology in the root environment. Furthermore, putrefaction and consequently the formation of toxic substances are prevented and the risk of an infection by pathogenic moulds is considerably reduced. This is ideal for your plant. The soil environment is improved, as the minerals and sugars that are formed as a result of using CANNAZYM, are important for the bacteria located close to the roots. These bacteria provide the plant with extra protection against diseases that are caused by moulds and facilitate the exchange of nutrients and vitamins with the roots. This results in improved balance and increased absorption capacity.
Increased Health
CANNAZYM contains several easy-to-absorb vitamins that stimulate the plant to form new roots. A well-developed root system uses of a lot of young growing-points. Elements like calcium, magnesium and iron are absorbed exactly by these growing-points. Furthermore, a substance that has been isolated from desert plants has been added to CANNAZYM, as a result of which the plant's natural defence system will be improved. Activation of the defence system of the plant increases the protection against pathogenic organisms.......................... cont.

I have advanced COPD, (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), a serious terminal lung problem. They say there's no cure and been told I'm probably not going to live too much longer, but hope to prove 'em wrong. Here's some COPD info en.wikipedia.o... Hiii Marian. Yes not bad hey? hehehe. I'm proud of them. I'm pretty sure this variety will get a lot bigger in the tropics. I have some videos coming soon where I pick the biggest papaya of the season and weigh them on some scales, and give them a taste test. Not bad at all. Very good size for the Sub-tropics.:-)

Hiii Niel. Thanks so much. Great to see you here and great to connect on FB too. Yea these plants got beat around from the massive rains we had in February. And even after that it kept raining too much. The papaya fruits still look good in this video, but you can see the papaya leaves don't look as good as in the Summer update. But the fruiting has been great, I was picking fruit everyday for many months, right up until that cold snap a couple of days before Winter actually. Right now, in mid June, it's bitterly cold and all of my trees have stopped growing. Fruits are still ripening on the papayas but very slow. Papaya health will start going backwards now, they almost die every year in Winter actually, and then come back to life in Spring. I want to do some work on the papaya roots now, try and make them more healthy with that Cannazime, also paint the stems with that dolomite paste I make. And now I have a chance to clear back the jungle that keeps closing in on the papayas out the back, and let them get more sunlight and ventilation. Get everything ready for Spring and hopefully next season will be an even better harvest. Thanks for watching Mate :-)

Hiii Mary. Not too bad hey? That's what its all about. Picking the fruits. Sooo good. That's the big reward hehe. Did you see my Brazilian Cherry's near the end of the video? Starting at 54 minutes I show my Brazilian Cherry tree. It's only a small tree but covered in fruits. I picked more than 1000 yummy sweet juicy cherry sized fruits. They ripened at a perfect speed too, they did not ripen all at once, instead I was picking 50 to 70 ripe fruits everyday for a month. So that was great, Brazilian Cherry's for breakfast, everyday for a month :-)

Hii Mary. Thanks for dropping by. Yes I was surprised to find out you grow so many Atis / Custard Apples in the Philippines. I love them. They're one on my favourites. This variety I'm growing here is extra good. Perhaps the best variety in Australia. It's sweet like candy my friend :-)

Hii Carmina thanks for dropping by. Yes Atis, is an amazing fruit. We call them "Custard Apples" here in Australia. It's one of my favourites too. And many people think this variety Atis I'm growing, called the "KJ Pinks, Paxton Prolific, Self Pollinating" is the best variety in Australia. If I move to the Philippines I hope to take some of these seeds with me because it is very good. This one is incredibly sweet and very soft, not as "chewy" as most Atis, and also not many seeds in each fruit. Thanks again my friend, hope you liked the video :-)

Sometimes here in phils those pesticides are sooo expensive
@localtime824
@localtime824 2 жыл бұрын
Yes wow interesting my friend, I never think about that before until now. I guess its just like medications in the Phils, you have to pay those big chemical company's the same price as we pay here. For us here a bottle of Permethrin is only a small percentage of the average wage, a small percentage of the average persons weekly pay. But for you in the Philippines, with a much lower cost of living and a much lower wage the cost would be huge. Most local products in the Phils are cheaper than we have here in Australia, but you all get a much lower pay too. Dang! Makes it hard for you.

Ohhh Hiii my friend. Good timing.. These are the "Brazilian Cherry". You were asking me about Cherry's last time. Yea these are very nice fruits. But they don't taste much like a real Cherry. It's too hot here for the real Cherry's, the real Cherry's need a cold winter to bear good fruits... But this Brazilian Cherry will grow well even in the hot tropics of the Philippines.. And yes its a very nice fruit. Thanks sooo much for dropping by, hope you liked it :-)

Yes fruit is so important for the body and taste great. When I was a little boy my mother always used to have a bowl of fruit on the table and she always say "Eat some fruit". But I never eat enough and always want to eat sweet biscuits haha. But when I became a teenager and started playing sports and working part time, then i realise how important fruit is for a strong healthy body. And when we eat enough fruits and vegetables we never get sick.

Hii Derly. Ohhh really? That's a surprise! Maybe you find them too sweet? They are very sweet, nearly like candy. Especially my variety, gee mine are so sweet and sticky.... I'd never even seen a Custard Apple/ Atis until I was 21 and moved to a farming area and started working on a farm. One day a Mate visited and he had these BIG Atis that he just bought at a farm not far away. They were HUGE Atis, nearly as big as basketballs, and wow I loved the taste the moment I tried them. Thanks so much for visiting Derly. Did you see my Brazilian Cherry's near the end of the video at 54 minutes? Have you seen those fruits in the Philippines? I think you would have them in the Phills. Very yummy little fruits. They call them "cherry's" but they dont taste much like a cherry. But still very nice, very sweet and tangy and juicy, and very high in Vitamin C. I picked more than a 1000 fruits off that small tree this last time and it gives fruits 4 or 5 times a year. Actually this last 6 months its had 1 of 2 ripe fruits on it nearly every day. Yes its a good tree to have. Thanks very much for watching my dear friend. :-)
