Hi ya Elonu. Hope you are doing well. Oh yes papaya is good food alright. This one is amazing. I'm disapointed in the small size but the fruit is the best ever. I've never eaten papaya this sweet or juicy. It can actually drip with juice, and when I eat them, if not careful I can make a sticky mess hehe. Almost like eating juicy mangoes. ❤🙂

Hiii Julina. Great to hear from you. Yes papaya grow so well in the Philippines.. I would like to take this seed to the Philippines and grow them there.. But maybe I don't need to do that? Maybe the Philippines has better. But this is a very very good papaya, a bit small, but the sweetest and most juicy I ever eat before. ❤🙂

Yes it's excellent Mate. It really is. See the way is glistens at the beginning. It even drips with juice, just barely, but how many papayas drip with juice? And it's sweet and sticky. It gets a bit messy eating them. Leaves a sticky mess almost like a mango. 👍🙂

Great video mate! Thanks for making this video, what’s your secret for growing it so well?! Keep making the videos mate!
@localtime8246 ай бұрын
Hi. Thanks very much. I love making KZbin videos. Its a great hobby. My secret? Well keeping the nutrient up to them is important. They are quite heavy feeders, I think they have nutrient needs a little like Bananas but they have much less need for water as bananas. They can grow well in areas that are too dry for bananas.. A long time ago I had a small papaya farm in a semi arid area and they grew very well, and the dry heat brings out the sugars in the fruit. Continued below. Tips. They will grow very fast in the right conditions. Ideally they love good drainage, full sunshine and warm to hot temperatures. I say they love good drainage and that is very true.. but I these days I've been successfully growing papaya on bales of Organic Sugar Cane mulch, using the "No dig" method.. Because then its very easy for me to prepare the ground. I just buy bales of the Sugar Cane mulch.. a straw bale will do too.. and often I won't even loosen the straw, just leave it as a solid block and sit the plant on top, and add some loose straw around it and, weell really helps if its in a sheltered spot too, not too much wind.. Or support the young plant with a stake. Here's a video where I show how I do it.. very a fast and simple no dig method. Planting Papayas on Straw Bales. 17 November 2020 kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKuZaJ6ue5eBldE And yea then I just water regularly and add organic nutrients on the top . And for the first few months it drains well and its almost like a Hydroponic "grow wool" cube.. and they can grow very fast..... As the straw is breaking down.. the roots are in that mixture as the breakdown process is happening.. and when the mulch finally gets old and fully broken down I often add more mulch and its left kind of growing in a mulch heap... But once the mulch is fully broken down i have to be careful not to over-water because the mulch can get over wet and even become a sticky muck and not drain so well..Usually by then it needs no extra water from me and the rain is all it needs Yea it seems a little tricky at first, but it's very very simple and very low effort.. no digging etc..and they can do very well. Cheers. Best regards!
