First of all, you are gorgeous! And yes, hydrangeas are a different kind of beauty in the fall, I LOVE them in their summer prime but I just really enjoy looking at them again in the fall when their blooms are brown and lovely! Those heucheras are looking great!

Congrats on almost 6000 subs!! I just got to 100 subs last night 🤣🤣🤣. We just got freezing rain, snow (very little) & a freeze last night!! In central Texas! In my 35 years I've never seen this kind of weather this time of year! Looks like it's gonna be a cold one! I just want to hibernate until spring. The gardening blues are real! Things are looking good-and I am so happy to see you back - my locate Garden center does not have anything on Clearance worth buying - I did buy a Strawberry Vanilla Hydrangea on clearance for $5.00 only to discover once it starting growing that it was a Quickfire - I will keep watching and if anyone knows about the Czechmark tri color weigela (Laura from Garden Answer planted one) could you let me know-thanks and happy gardening (Zone 5b Northwest Indiana today 11/12/19 it is 19 degree and the wind chill is below zero- I am over winter already

I too am a clearance shopper. I’ve filled three large beds all with clearance. Feels great doing it that way. I so get you. You inspired me with the hydrangeas, just picked up 9 Fire Lights at 75% off. End of season sales have been crazy good and keep me moving, yay! I think of you now every time I catch a good deal in the plant world. Keep up the videos. Love seeing them.

I love that you've rescued so many plants and they reward you with a flush display. I did that with 3 apple trees my employer planned to throw out because of the brown leaves. Unfortunately, last year I forgot to put the protective white tubes back on the trunks and our harsh winter brought out the vermin who ate the bark. Now they're apple shrubs. I waited too long to look for clearance trees. Maybe I can replace them one at a time. You are gorgeous. I love your hair.

I am happy to report that during my last visit to Lowe's I hauled a 4ft red twig blossoming dogwood tree for $5.45!!!!! it was a 75% clearabce! woot woot!

I love your channel new to gardening my first hydrangeas was endless Summer they were doing quite well before we had a hint of cold weather didn't have space to overwinter I hope they survive so I can plant them next season keep up the good work you inspire us all I garden in 8A and thought I had a black thumb but the past bring I was able to grow things in plants and got them to live so I was try to plant a flower bed and put it on drip after watching you

I cut several of my hydrangea blooms at the right time, put them in a vase with an inch of water (long since evaporated) and the color is sort of green with pink highlights. I'm going to decorate an iron planter with pine boughs I picked off a pile at our municipal compost site and a few of my dried hydrangeas. That's about as festive as I get.

Wow, I'm in Northern California. We've had nothing but dry and very warm November weather. 80 degrees F. People are still wearing shorts during the day. Leaves are still on most trees. I wish for closer weather.

Hi there! I’m a very new gardener and new KZbinr. I looove hydrangea. I got 5 firelights as my first hydrangeas and is crossing my fingers they’ll survive for the coming spring. I love limelight !!!

Inspirations From The Nook make sure they are my mulched properly if you live in a colder zone. 2-3 inches of mulch. They are hardy down to zone 3 or 4 so you should be fine

Rainbow Citizen panicle hydrangeas can be cut at anytime. I always wait until the new growth emerges before I cut them back

My MIL puts hydrangea in one of her many Christmas trees. She uses gold and purple ornaments with the hydrangeas, it looks stunning. 2000 bulbs, wow. It will look stunning.

Catherine's Garden of LWS mopheads are great in spring but you need some summer blooming hydrangeas or reblooming hydrangeas to carryon the snow.

Weight or not... you're beautiful & so are your hydrangeas ❤ I planted hydrangeas for the first time this year. I was looking forward to clipping them for holiday centerpieces when they dried & were turning brown but they are too small to clip for that. Maybe next year. Yours look really good tho ❤
