Did anyone else chuckle when you read message on Moya's t-shirt (Gardening is cheaper than therapy)? I thought "I'm not sure about that, at least for me". I spends lots of $$ on my garden, and I love it! Love your vision and enclosed veggie garden. I agree with other viewers: I think the fencing will not be an issue once your planting begins. You and hubbie should be very satisfied with how much progress you've made!

the metal panels stands out against the black wood, if you attach the panels from the inside, you might like how that looks. The black wood posts would then standout and the metal panels will recede into the back ground. be kind to yourself, you're doing great!

I LOVE the fence. It doesn't look "modern" to me. I have that same fencing material across my yard since long before I moved in 31 years ago. The supports used for my fence are those generic T poles spray painted silver. (Must be an old man thing to spray paint everything silver. I bought my house from an 80-year-old man )

Moya - I thought I was watching “The Garden Housewives of Maryland. You are 😂 funny. The Peach tree addition is really good, how about another on the other side to balance it out? After you put the vines and flower on the fence you want even notice the wiring. Keep up the great work . You have serious vision!

If patience is all I need to have in order to share in your “story”, which is so wonderful…. not to worry because… patience I have, especially to be a witness to: Black love between husband and wife, watching your dreams coming into reality, the beauty of you and your husband and children, Black family love, just hearing the cacophony of birds singing in the background is sweet music to my ears…. Patience for me is no problem because I’m on the journey with you🌺. I’m so loving your channel, and all that you and your hubby are doing so, take it easy, take care of yourselves and when you need to rest, be sure to do so🌺. Self care is of major importance so that you are well and able to keep on keeping on 🌺. I’m proud of your family and accomplishments…. As you would say, “AMAZING”🌺

Well first of all, you owe us nothing.. never apologize! Secondly, stop saying "That's ALL we've done" and start saying "Wow, look how much we've done!" Take the time to enjoy your accomplishments. You deserve it. I know, I know. We all have big plans; time moves on and the garden grows without us. So what!? You've got lots of years to get there. Go do those mommy things, have fun and relax. Or you're going to need that therapy! 🤗

Oh my gosh, from my perspective, the work you are doing is happening so fast. I was stunned to see how much had happened. I love the black fence-that looks so sharp. Lighting will just knock it out of the park. I wouldn’t worry too much about the look of the panels. Once you start growing vines on it, you won’t see the fence. You may want to put in a few evergreens, boxwoods, etc. around the fence for structure in the winter. It is impressive!

I'm with everyone else. The fence looks great. I think when you and hubby sandwich it between the boards and get your plants positioned, you'll like it much better. Your garden is like a fine whine, it takes time. So don't rush your process, it will be worth the wait. I'm cool with longer videos or just a video of what's starting to take bloom in the rest of the garden. Family comes first! Do what you feel is best. Peace, love and blessings!

definitely roll the fence -- spray painting - it will all just blow away - there is so little surface with that wire. ALSO, how about putting some small chicken wire on the bottom 2 feet of the fence to keep the bunnies out -- the smallest you can find - so they don't get hurt trying to get in.

The cattle fencing will hardly be seen once the vines and other plants mature. And it's so sturdy, it'll be able to handle the weight of heavier fruiting vines and flowers. You made a good choice with it. The black frame/ fencing: PERFECTION. Espaliered fruit trees or roses would also look really nice growing on it. Y'all been working HARD, hope you get to enjoy some rest during Spring Break, and hopefully allergies will ease up.

Unsolicited opinion... leave the galvanized fencing as it is. The spray paint might cook on that hot metal and eventually start peeling. That would be a pian. Once you get your clematis vines growing, I bet the look will be softened. The lights you described will change the feel of it too. Love the update, crocs, coffee and robe!

Hey, Moya! Though your opinion is the only one that counts, I love the look of the fence! It is a little more modern looking than the rest of your garden, but the plants will soften the look of it. Thanks for sharing! Blessings to you and your family 💚

Great job on the enclosure. I don't think you need to paint the metal portion, just making more work for yourself when it doesn't really need it. It's a very attractive vegetable garden as is, and planting shrubs/flowers, vines around the fence will soften it a lot, and adding caps or finials to the top posts can amp up the style as well. What you (and your hubs) have done in your garden is so impressive, especially with all your other responsibilities and limited time. Your videos inspire me to improve my own garden!

Please don't overthink it. Try painting one section of the fence to see how looks before committing to the entire fence. Plus the plants will cover the mesh and automatically it will hide the fencing. Flowers will be a pleasant distraction. Trumpet Vine, clematis, honeysuckle are my suggestions. 😉

Really no need to apologize for your tiredness...hey, you have 4 beautiful kids and a husband to care for. We're all just grateful you're able to post videos whenever you do. Great progress with the raised bed garden. As far as the cattle fencing goes, it makes the area look cleanly finished and neat. SUGGESTION: Instead of trying to spray paint it, if you use a thick-napped roller on it, both sides will get painted at the same time. The thickness of the roller as you go over one side of the fencing ends up grabbing the backside of the fencing at the same time...less work for mamma! 💜💜

We definitely will watch a 30-40 min video… without problems because we adore you Moya and are very interested in your space & all the wonderful changes. Don’t worry about the fence it’s perfect and once you put those 1X2’s on the outside you won’t even notice it, so don’t waste time and money spray painting the cattle wire. I think the solar caps would be great. Also, IMHO (I know this is not my space but yours) I would maybe do a little formality in front of the fence like a boxwood hedge with maybe some arbs on the corners.. idk.. I have to see it more (hint! Hint!!) to have a true idea.. and I’m so down with the black… that’s what I want you to paint your obelisks… Waiting anxiously for the next video! & things are looking good girl.

Don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s going to be fine. You’ve accomplished a lot considering all of your obligations and responsibilities. Weather has been nasty. The veggie garden looks great! The fence fades into the background when you look at it from a distance. I also agree, once you have plants & flowers planted, you won't see the fence. Love your videos!

Your garden enclosure looks super! The cattle fence is perfect. No need to change it, especially after you've planted around it .... youll hardly be able to see any fence! Its nice to see a couple work so hard together. And quit apologizing for being human! You're doing an amazing job!

Looks great. Once you get the rocks and plants you will love it. The black will fade into the trees once they leaf out.. Don't over think it! Remember paint fades and chips look at your front Fence. You love that!

I’m glad you let us know this a two person effort. I finally get it I cannot garden by myself. We both are still learning how to do the garden dance 😂😂😂
