I love seeing your whole family together. It brought tears to my eyes. I’m going on 82 and most of my family is gone, parents, hubby,son and we don’t have family gatherings now. I still have a daughter and granddaughter to love dearly, but they don’t live close. I love your beautiful gardens and your family. Thanks for sharing them with all of us, young and old. What a fun video! The stone pathways and patio are stunning; Pedro is clearly an artist. Loved watching you and Monica cook together but I couldn’t touch that hot sauce with a ten-foot pole! They had made a peach salsa that was to die for. The lady said they set up weekly, and the local farmers always are donating the fresh ingredients for them to make healthy options to share with the public visiting the market. She gave us the recipe, but said it can just be googled online searching Peach Salsa. 🍑 10/10

Drinking milk helps if you get a real hot bite/taste of a chile. Drinking water doesn’t work. My nurse/mother-in-law recommended when I got some in my nose. Dabbing with a tissue drenched in milk. Really worked!

So good to know.. I have bad reactions to spice, and I have to read everything label wise. The squirrels and deer are determined to eat everything, so I tried sprinkling hot pepper mixture on garden. I couldn't stop sneezing, eyes and nose so irritated, even with gloves the mixture went down to my hands . Will try milk next time..and a mask!

Oh, & 2 tips. Get in the habit of scraping veggies etc with the back of your knife. It will save the blade's sharpness, & you only need to run your canning jars through the dishwasher. I love when you show us what you do with the produce you grow! FYI-as long as you process jars at least 10 minutes, you don't have to sterilize anything. You just wash with soap and hot water, this is most current safe canning guideline.
