You are so blessed to have Espoma potting soil and the irrigation to go with the containers. In our area we can only find miracle grow potting soil. Your plantings are always very beautiful!! 🌸🌸🌸

I used to love Miracle-Gro, but the product has changed. Seems heavier now once plants are in and watered. I always feel I have to loosen the soil between plants.

Hey Laura, hey Aaron! I just have to comment on how incredible evolution Laura has shown when it comes to standing in front of the camera and presenting stuff. I remember the very first videos and boy has Laura grown comfortable with being filmed and talking to an invisible audience! 😄 Fun question: would you consider making a video in which you would react to older videos of yourself? I think it would be fun to look back and see how far you have come, not only as garden owners but also as content creators! 🤗

Love all the combinations of plants! I noticed your spruce tree when you placed your shade planter (which I love!) that the spruce might have an issue (Rhizosphaero need cast). We have that on our trees and we treat for it. Love all your gardens!

I love dicondra silver falls. If you find healthy big ones like Laura’s they can be divided…I could get 4 clumps off one of those! They are fast vigorous growers. Especially if you keep them fertilized….i would have also divided that sweet potato vine. More bang for your buck. Most people cannot afford all those plants as the prices have skyrocketed. I do love watching this channel…especially the crafty projects.

So I have taken your advice on a lot of things, and one of them is filling the pot up with potting mix to the bottom. It has made a huge difference in my flowers this year that are in pots! Thank you for the tip. These containers are beautiful!

I have not tried this yet, but try a granular pre-emergent. There is one called Snapshot ($$S, but goes a long way).They are supposed to be fairly long lasting. KZbin channel "Gardening TLC" has done some videos talking about this. I like this channel. She is a garden shop owner and does landscape design. Very knowledgable and down to earth. I really didn't have much of a weed problem up until about a year ago. I'm going to try this as it's getting too hard to do hand weeding.

It looked like on one pot she used the side of her hand to make a small trench in the mulch as she drew the line out from under the pot then set the pot down? It was quick. I like how fluid and efficient her hands move when planting.
