Those Lupines are amazing! They look like they'd be a type of candy in a Willy Wonka movie! The first Lupine you showed in this video was extraordinary. I love your home garden tours, so many unique areas of interesting and beautiful plantings. All lush and healthy, especially your hostas!, they're a kaleidoscope of colors and textures!

Gorgeous property wow 🤩 but don’t envy the grass cutting!!! The Lupines are amazing show stopper! 💕🌸

Cutting the grass is a breeze... with a riding lawn mower. We learned that the first year there.

I used to dislike hosta until I discovered that there are so many varieties other than the old plain and shiny green ones and the white and green shiny ones. I now want every variety! I love that they can be divided every year for many more plants! The colors, shapes, and textures are amazing! Yours are awesome!

You have a beautiful garden! I like the idea in the front flower bed, where the pots are changeable. I remember seeing that on Pinterest.😊

Lovely garden! Love your videos! And loved the mouse house comment. Made me laugh out loud! lol My only 2 hosta plants (that I bought from you guys on clearance last year) are loving life in my NorCal zone 9 garden. I definitely need a few more and I’ll have a smaller hosta garden. Have a blessed day! ❤

Heidi, I'm with you on the impatients. Many years ago before drip irrigation or aquapots, i had impatients in mixed planters on my front porch. I'd put some water on them in the early morning(while having my coffee & watching the wildlife) before leaving for work. But when I'd get home in the late afternoon or early evenings, they would be all wilted down. They would look like they were on deaths door lol. I'd throw more water on them and within just a few minutes, they were right back to looking gorgeous!! I've been a huge fan of them ever since. They were absolutely resilient and beautiful! And any plant that can spring back like that is definitely a keeper in my book.

Hi Heidi, do your potted plants in pots ever outgrow their 10-inch pots? I’m always amazed by how vivid the Anna’s Magic Ball are and how nicely everything is blooming! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful garden. I always love watching your tours.
@gardencrossings6 ай бұрын
No they do not out grow the pots. We water daily and feed weekly.

Your garden is so gorgeous! I love all the colors and textures that you have planted. Those hostas are spectacular! Such great color variation. I'm going to enjoy yours. I can't plant hostas because there are too many deer around, and they eat the hostas to the ground.
@gardencrossings6 ай бұрын
Yes they are a deer salad bar if you have deer.

You're right about Lupine...they also don't like to be transplanted....plant careful not to disturb root system, then leave them alone once established Thanks for showing your beautiful gardens.

Hi Heidi! Do you need to trim Sonic bloom Weigela or not? Can you tell us about it in your next tour, please?
@gardencrossings6 ай бұрын
You can trim it but it is not needed. I like to trim sometimes after it is done blooming or also we will trim in the fall taking it down by 1/3 to 1/2.
