As a plumber I would advise you to remove your taps and seal the holes you drilled in the oak top . When you refit the taps put some sort of sealant under the tap to prevent water getting down the hole . Seal the wood then seal the tap in place . Water is very hard to control ask any boat owner . Love your show , keep up the good work .

Michael, your cottage looks so homey and comforting when the yellow glow of the lights shining through the windows lighting the darkness outside. Oh, I live in the USA, a beautiful place in far Northern Idaho just 35 miles from the Canadian Border.

The best thing to do with your AGA tool is to place a hook just for it as close to the AGA as you can while having it out of the way, possibly in one of your triangular voids to the rear sides of your cooker. I learned to install a hook under my sink for my tool I use to remove faucet housings when I had to replace my tool every time.

I trusted that if you were using it in the chateau I could use it in my cottage. I ordered it from what seems to be the unique importer in the States and it did not disappoint. It is absolutely beautiful. I got another can and the maintenance products since Osmo is not available any more in the States. The company seems to have been sold and the former owner is now producing a similar product under another brand name "Saicos" which is readily available in the States.

The breaks on the plate look very precise. You could certainly get it repaired. They can perform miracles these days. Some time ago one of the London museums had a catastrophe, an idiot pushed an ancient urn off a balustrade and they were able to fix it, not even a crack showing. For something that matters so much to you, a repair is worth thinking about. Even if it is not secure enough to use again, you could keep it for show and have another one to use. Thank you for the video. I hope that after this disaster you have a fabulous day!

There are some folks who are really good at re-gluing broken china. You could find such a person and let them have a go at it. Your plate will never be the same of course, but you could keep your treasure. Good luck.
@judithjohnsonnigh57573 жыл бұрын
Make a square box frame, cover the interior with white linen and affix the pieces to the backing. You can join them or perhaps better separate them slightly showing the breaks. Put behind glass and write the story on the back. Hang it on the wall in the kitchen. A conversation piece. Sadly, things break. After my 9 month old pulled a table cloth with all my creamware service I cried then accepted and realized....things break. Glad you were not injured. ❤️
