Oh, but I am so enjoying following your life in the mountains in Northern Italy. I am glad you actually got rid of the grass in the garden. Grass doesn't play nicely with vegetables. Doing a good job that takes a longer time is worth it in the long run.Sara, I am so loving the cooking lessons too. My heart is light that you are both safe and have access to nature and a home. Luca, I have never seen a compost like that. I shall try it. I love the story about your dad Luca and remember him saying, " Come home. You need to be home now."

Actually many grasses can be beneficial particularly in areas that experience frequent drought. They typically have shallow root systems, help retain water and most of all keep the top soil from washing away during heavy rain. Also ground covers like white clovers, oats, and mustard are great nitrogen fixing plants either all year or between crops. No till gardening is a method gaining wider adoption as it provides both continuous fertilizing and protection against adverse climate conditions.

You need to know that I don't watch your channel for van life adventures. I watch because of you two beautiful people. It is your love affair -- the love you have for each other -- that captivates me. You met another couple like this a while back, and that's how I discovered you. The Nomadic Movement is another couple with a You Tube channel I love. They were van lifers originally, but I watch them at their new homestead in Panama now. Their videos are also great because of how much they love each other. The stories they tell each day are magical. Their relationship is filled with love and laughter just like the two of you. Their videos touch my heart because of how much they love each other. Luca and Sara, you are the same. So whether you are planting veggies or cutting grass. I don't care what you do. It's who you are that I love. It's how you tell the story that matters...you speak with love in year hearts and love for each other. I just wanted you to know it isn't what kind of story you tell that matters. It is how you tell the story together as a couple in love. That is such a beautiful place! It must feel nice to be settled and with all those luxuries of modern day living that so many people take for granted.
