Has it occurred to anyone else that vanlifers are: -hard workers -great cooks, even on the fly -incredibly gifted with their hands -able to build and fix darn near EVERYTHING -able to care for themselves and often others with a smile even in hard times. And Sara and Luca are prime examples. Fantastic work and SO HAPPY YOU ARE HOME SAFE!!!

I was just thinking the same - watching them settle into heating with wood and talking about getting garden going etc...same with Trent and Allie they are working on his mom's property setting up chicken houses and getting a garden in for her and lots of other work. Gives me real hope for the future an hopefully will make folks realise that travellers are blessed with the chance to see and travel the world but they also contribute to the world. :)

What a blessing to have a home to come to that's yours, you can maintain your isolation and quarantine, you have privacy with a view. Some would call it a God thing, others call it luck or karma... I think someone was watching out for you. It wasn't too long ago your anxiety was through the ceiling and you were close to tears, now that's ancient history and you're having fun eating weeds. I agree with some of your other supporters, hang on to your precious house, what a safety net it turned out to be. Once you're on the road again you can rent it out to your followers who might be vacationing in that part of Italy. I'm very happy for you.

First off, you both look look like you have turned back time 10 years. You look so much younger now and so much happier. No worry lines! You truly look very happy. Second, nice log splitter. I liked the log splitter a lot.We heat with wood in the basement so the house does not feel so cold and warms the foundation. We have no furnace and use wood pellets for the rest of the house which is small.We use propane for on demand water heater. I would like to replace the pellet stove with a wood burner because there is a lot of wood and if the power goes out you will still be warm!

I just turned 64. I've had lots of time in isolation to reflect on the choices I've made in life. Both good and questionable. That was one incredibly smart 22-year-old kid. Beautiful spot! After following your travels,,,I'm not surprised. I'm glad you're both home safe. However this chapter in history unfolds,,,I wish you both the best. That's the aluminum oxidizing, easy clean up as some of the other post say. Sounds like a diesel that will make more clacking noise, probably time for an oil and filter change. Nice home.

If you mix baking soda with water and brush it on your engine...let it sit for 30 minutes (you can also take a soft wire brush to it) and then hose it off.

YES, The White Powder that you see on the Motor is in fact Aluminum RUST...Yes, Aluminum will break down just like regular Steel... you can clean it off and just either paint it or rub some motor oil on it..it will... You have a very nice home..don't sale it ...You always need a home to come back to....👍❤️
