our tomatos have only just started turning colour, which is so late for us! the weather has been unseasonably cool and wet for this time of year! It was predicted to be a hot dry summer, so we are quite surprised! We opened out farm stand recently, which has been doing really well, and Bettie is a little annoyed that I keep selling the tomatos that are ready, and she keeps missing out LOL. One of our customers has wisened up that if they ask me to buy the ones that are starting to turn I'll let them, so they keep getting in first haha. I need to dedicate a plan just to ourselves or I might get too excited and we will miss out too much!

Your tomatoes are looking great John and as for the cucumbers, I am growing the same and making a lot of pickled cucumber!! My basil is straggly compared to yours!! My garden is looking nearly as good as yours. :)

Have you tried companion planting mammoth dill with tomatoes for white fly? If the scent is the deterrant and you need height, I instantly thought about dill.

I spray them with a combination of white oil and Neem oil. This controls the numbers but doesn't eliminate them.

Hi, thanks for the informative videos. could i ask about your cellar please. the dimensions, placements, ie. in the ground or in your shed? depth? and your basic requirements, timber etc. ventilation? i couldn't find a related video? thanks again.

Don't have any video's about it at this stage - but it may feature in a video soon. Our cellar is 3m by 4m and in ground, but I will say more in the video about it's pros and cons!
