Hi Rob, I was watching a video yesterday that was explaining the right times to apply foliar sprays. It was saying the best times to apply was 30 minutes before dark or 30 minutes before the sun comes up. the reason being the plants pores open wider at those times. so they are able to take in the nutrients better. Now they were talking about trees, but I am guessing it's the same for most plants. Just some extra information on top of what you covered.
@EssayonsFG
@EssayonsFG Жыл бұрын
Thanks Joey. That is definitely sound advice. I may do a follow up video , as I left a lot out on this one to try keeping it short. #NoPopcorn LOL. So many great benefits to foliar sprays for most plants and trees. And a great topic for you all with the expanding orchard.

Good information Rob. What is the 511 spray you mentioned? I hadn't heard about that before. How are you spraying that also? Are you using one of the hose attachments? If so I hadn't thought about that before. I been using a pump sprayer but that looks more efficient.
@EssayonsFG
@EssayonsFG Жыл бұрын
Thanks Ronnie. The 511 is Alaskan brand fish fertilizer. @The New Orleans Gardener has got us all calling it that. LOL Yes, I got a nematode hose end sprayer with a nematode purchase years ago but I think any hose end sprayer will work. We have all kinds of sprayers too. I have a small hand pump I'll be spraying Bt on webworms this weekend.

I don't have a detailed video but will try to put one together soon, along with our foliar sprays.
