Welcome to my May garden tour and Douentza Garden is looking lovely. We did have a late snap of frost, which has done some damage, but the bees are out in full swing and early summer has arrived.
I invite you to join in our collaborative growing. Grow a plant to remember my son, Josh! #GrowitforJosh #CollaborativeGrowing

Your garden is stunning! Just beautiful! The late frost hit us too (glad to know we’re not the only ones!) and has taken out most of the fresh growing tips on the top of our beach hedges ❄️

Really lovely Rachel, thank you. I lost my Acer Dissectum, i had pruned it back hard last year and it didn't like that. But my seedling cherry tree flowered for me this year for the first time in 20 yrs! I can see fruits developing! These late frosts can sneak up on you unexpectedly and do a lot of damage. Hope your plants will recuperate from that.

Laburnum and Wisteria, two favorites of mine. I hope your Laburnum will continue to perform for you, many years to come and you may enjoy its sweet yellow blooms spring upon spring. However, should it ever decide to give up and pass on, do not discard it. Many artisan woodworkers value it's wood and make lovely pieces from it.
