Good watching your video this evening as we have been experiencing alot of rain and cold temperatures here in Southern Indiana. Quite alot of new and exciting perennials to think about for the 2024 garden and the only problem is I love so many but eventually I know I'll have to narrow down what to plant in the garden. Look what you have done to me,Jenny! I know daylillies are a favorite of mine. I ordered the multi-colored one year from Oakes and they multiplied like crazy and were extremely beautiful! The stand by me pink, clematis are pretty, along with pink pearls and rose rhinestones. Do like the Miss America Hostas & Silver Lining Artemeisia for ground covers. Thanking you for your suggestions along with information on each perennial. Hope your skies are sunny!

Jenny is there a possibility when you describe the plants you could say if it is toxic to cats and dogs? I have to know this because I had a year old puppy die of plant toxicity.

I planted 3 ice plants and none came back. Im in zone 5b so maybe not as winter hardy for my area. They are very beautiful and the flowers open up when the sun is out and they close back when it sets. Very interesting plants!

Do you have a good suggestion for a spring blooming perennial to plant with hardy hibiscus in a very wet spot? I’d love to have a show in spring and then they get swallowed up by late-waking hibiscus.
